Overview
Application
Profound is the marketing platform for the age of AI search. The way brands reach people is being rewritten — AI models like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Mode are now the answer layer between companies and their customers. We built the platform marketers use to understand, measure, and win in that world: the analytics, intelligence, and agent automation that turn AI search from a threat into a competitive advantage.
We went from 0 to a $1B valuation in 18 months. Revenue grew 100x last year. Our customers include 15% of the Fortune 500 like Walmart, Wayfair and U.S. Bank, and innovators like Ramp, MongoDB, and Figma. We are backed by Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, LSVP, and Khosla Ventures — and we are moving fast enough that the people joining now are building the playbook everyone who comes after them will run.
We're looking for a Brand Designer to define and shape how Profound looks and feels across every channel, from campaigns and events to the visual systems that scale our brand as we grow.
This is a hands-on design role. The Brand Designer works closely with the Creative Director and Brand lead to shape the visual language of the brand, build the systems that make it scalable, and push it into new territory as Profound expands.
You'll sit on the marketing team and collaborate closely with content, demand gen, product, and leadership. You'll be the person in the room with a strong opinion on what the brand should look like, with the craft to back it up.
What You'll Do
Define and evolve the visual brand. You will shape the look and feel of Profound across all brand touchpoints: campaigns, website, events, social, and beyond. You'll build the systems to get it there consistently.
Build flexible, scalable design systems. You'll create and maintain a brand design system that gives the broader team, including our Visual Designer, the building blocks to execute on-brand work at speed. Systems that hold up under pressure and leave room to push.
Design campaign creative. You'll work on visual direction for marketing campaigns from concept through execution, ensuring every asset, digital and physical, tells a coherent, compelling story about what Profound is and why it matters.
Shape brand experiences. From in-person conferences and events to OOH activations, you'll extend the brand into physical and experiential formats. You'll think about how the brand feels, not just how it looks.
Push the creative bar. You'll participate in design reviews alongside the Brand lead and Creative director, and be a visible standard-setter for craft across the marketing team. You'll make the work around you better.
Experiment and challenge. Profound's visual identity has room to grow. We want a designer who can bring their ideas to life and execute on them, and who is curious about where the brand could go next.
What You'll Bring
5+ years of experience in brand design, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong visual identity work, not just execution
A clear, opinionated point of view on typography, color, layout, and composition, with the ability to defend creative decisions clearly
Experience building and maintaining brand systems that work across digital and physical formats
Proven ability to design campaign creative from concept through final delivery
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills: you work well with marketers, writers, and leadership, and you know how to align stakeholders without losing your creative conviction
Deep proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
Comfort managing multiple workstreams in a fast-moving environment and making independent priority calls
A high bar for craft and the discipline to hold it under deadline pressure
Bonus Points
Motion design or animation experience
Experience designing for SaaS, martech, or data/AI products
Background in experiential or event design
Familiarity with AI tools in a creative workflow
Location
This role is based in New York, NY and works in-office.
For this role, the expected base salary range is $120,000 to $200,000 (NY). Profound's total compensation package includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process.

We are backed by Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, LSVP, and Khosla Ventures — and we are moving fast enough that the people joining now are building the playbook everyone who comes after them will run.
Product managers here are true product owners, responsible for discovery, execution, and delivery end to end. This is a chance to build at the frontier of AI and marketing and make an impact that bends the trajectory of the company. We're hiring across several product areas: analytics tools that help marketing teams understand their brand's performance on answer engines, an agent platform where marketers build and orchestrate agents to execute strategies and automate operations, and vertical solutions built for new use cases and strategic customer segments.
As the Platform PM, you'll own the foundational systems that every Profound customer and teammate depends on.Your core scope includes the infrastructure that makes Profound trustworthy, scalable, and enterprise-ready, including: identity and access management, permissions and roles, billing and subscription management, notifications, and authentication. You'll define how admins manage their teams, control access to sensitive data, and integrate Profound into their existing workflows.
What You'll Do
Create the strategy that makes Profound's platform work for the largest brands in the world. This includes identity and access management, permissions and roles, billing and subscription management, notifications, and authentication.
Define how customers onboard, manage teams, and control access to Profound's products, from single-seat startups to Fortune 500 security and procurement teams
Expedite execution across engineering, design, security, marketing, sales and customer success by creating clarity, making decisions, and managing scope
Optimize the team for velocity and quality shots on goal
Be in front of customers every day to do discovery, get feedback, and sell
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams so that we tell compelling stories to prospects and customers
Who You Are
5 or more years of experience building excellent software products for enterprise, ideally in a startup or fast-moving company
Domain expertise in platform engineering, identity and access management, billing systems, or developer infrastructure. You understand how to turn complex technical requirements into clean, scalable product experiences.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity, create clarity, and push teams to ship product and drive impact
Strong product fundamentals with a spike in one or more of security, systems design, enterprise go-to-market, or developer experience
Willing to roll up your sleeves to help the team execute, whether that means writing specs, digging into API docs, debugging auth flows, or responding to enterprise security reviews
You play on offense, creating and running toward opportunities and injecting energy into places where there is none
Experience as a founder, working at an early-stage startup, or building zero-to-one platform or infrastructure products is a plus
Location
This is an on-site role based in our San Francisco office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.
For this role, the expected base salary range is $200,000 to $300,000. Profound's total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process. Our recruiting team will share more details about the full compensation package and benefits as you move through hiring.

We are backed by Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, LSVP, and Khosla Ventures — and we are moving fast enough that the people joining now are building the playbook everyone who comes after them will run.
The Role
Campaigns move fast here, and the tech stack gets more complex every quarter. Your job is to make sure nothing breaks in the handoff between strategy and execution.
You'll own the systems and processes that let the rest of the team move quickly without creating a mess: campaign QA that catches problems before launch, lead routing that doesn't slip through CRM gaps, and reporting that's built once instead of rebuilt for every campaign.
What You'll Do
Campaign Operations
- Own end-to-end campaign ops: build, QA, and launch process for all email, web, events, webinar and paid campaigns
- Maintain campaign taxonomy and UTM standards so every campaign is trackable, consistent, and mapped for standardized reporting
- Manage the campaign calendar and be the accountable point of contact when launches slip or break
- Monitor campaign performance post-launch and flag data quality issues (failed syncs, missing tracking etc.) before it makes its way to the reporting
- Diagnose recurring campaign issues and fix the process, not just the instance
- Build and own the audience segmentation in our databases so we can accurately target the right audiences
- Help build out our AB testing framework so we’re always learning what works with our different audiences
Marketing Systems
- Own the health of the marketing tech stack day-to-day: lead routing logic, list hygiene, integrations, dedupe rules
- Support the lead flow process to ensure leads are picked up quickly by sales
- Partner with RevOps on tracking intent signals aligned to revenue lifecycle stages and scoring
- Lead integration testing and rollout when new tools are added to the stack and helping depreciate old tools
- Build and maintain SOPs for all recurring ops workflows
Reporting & Analytics Support
- Own recurring reporting cadence (campaign performance, list growth, funnel snapshots)
- Run UTM/tracking audits and catch data integrity issues before they reach the Ops & Analytics Lead
- Surface patterns in campaign/funnel data and bring recommendations, not just numbers, to planning conversations
- Support attribution and modeling
Who You Are
- 2–5 years in marketing operations or campaign ops at a B2B SaaS company, with at least a year managing systems or people
- Strong hands-on fluency with a marketing automation platform (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar) and CRM (Salesforce or similar)
- SQL or BI tool comfort (Hex, Looker, Tableau) — enough to self-serve, not build models from scratch
- You've owned a process end-to-end and made it better, not just run what was handed to you
- Comfortable pushing back on RevOps when something's off, not just executing tickets
Compensation & Benefits
Expected base salary range: $110,000–$170,000. Full comp includes base, equity, and benefits. Final offer and title depends on experience and location.

As our first Deal Desk hire, you won't be stepping into an existing machine - you'll be the one who builds it.
This is a foundational, high-ownership seat for someone who has done this before, thrives without a blueprint, and is ready to step into something bigger.
The Role
You'll own the entire deal lifecycle that powers our revenue engine - partnering with Sales and RevOps to fine tune the systems, guardrails, and playbooks that let us scale without losing commercial discipline. You'll be the last line of defense before every deal goes out the door and the first call a rep makes when a deal gets complicated.
But this isn't just an execution role. Profound is an AI-native company, and we expect this function to be AI-native too. We're looking for someone who has already built AI solutions to automate meaningful parts of their work - not just someone who uses the tools, but someone who engineers with them. That mindset will define how you build this function.
What You'll Do
Be the deal expert reps actually want to call
Serve as the trusted advisor to AEs on deal structure, pricing, and commercial terms - bringing judgment to non-standard situations, not just policy lookups
Partner with Sales on new business, expansion, and renewal deals that balance customer needs, Profound's economics, and operational simplicity
Establish yourself as the connective tissue between Sales, Finance, and Legal throughout the deal cycle
Own quote-to-sign end-to-end
Validate pricing and structure, generate and QA order forms, coordinate signature workflows, and resolve issues fast
Conduct final review of every deal prior to execution - you're the quality control gate before signature
Maintain Salesforce hygiene for all deal and opportunity records - pricing, terms, approval status, contract details - and partner with RevOps to automate workflows across CRM, CPQ, and CLM
Build the function from zero
Design and implement approval workflows, escalation paths, SLA standards, and exception-handling frameworks
Develop and maintain pricing guidelines, discount approval matrices, and deal structuring playbooks; enforce them consistently while refining as the business evolves
Establish the operating cadence for deal review, including regular deal clinics with Sales and Finance leadership
Own deal desk metrics - cycle time, approval turnaround, exception rates, discounting trends, deal quality - and report on them with rigor
Lead month-end deal audits to support accurate reporting and revenue recognition
Build AI into everything you do
Identify the highest-leverage opportunities for AI to reduce manual overhead and increase deal velocity
Bring a builder's mindset: if you're doing something repetitive more than twice, you should be building a solution
Own commercial responses
Support the commercial and pricing sections of RFP/RFI responses
Who You Are
Experience
5–8 years in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, or Sales Operations at a high-growth B2B SaaS company
Proven track record meaningfully improving or standing up deal desk processes (not just inheriting them)
Working knowledge of Salesforce (or HubSpot), CPQ, and CLM platforms
Mindset and character
An AI builder, not just an AI user - you've built automations that eliminated manual work from your deal desk workflow; you can speak to what you built, how, and what it replaced
Strong commercial intuition: you understand SaaS economics, discounting, and standard commercial terms, and you spot edge cases before they become problems
The backbone to push back constructively on senior Sales stakeholders when a deal falls outside policy - paired with genuine empathy for reps and a service mindset
Obsessively detail-oriented, able to prioritize and move fast in a high-volume environment
A clear communicator who can translate commercial complexity into actionable guidance for Sales, Finance, and Legal
Comfortable balancing 0-to-1 process building with high-volume deal execution simultaneously
Proactive by default - you identify gaps and close them without being asked
Nice to have
Experience with usage-based or consumption pricing models
Working knowledge of ASC 606 and its deal structuring implications
Experience evaluating or rolling out a CLM platform (Ironclad, Juro, DocuSign CLM, or similar)
What Makes This Role Different
Most deal desk roles ask you to maintain a machine someone else built. This one asks you to design the machine, wire it up, and run it - at an AI-native company that expects you to use AI to do it better than it's ever been done before.
You'll have direct access to Sales, Finance, and Legal leadership. Your decisions will shape how Profound closes deals and how the company scales its commercial operations. If you've been waiting for a seat at the table, this is it.
Location
On-site in our NYC or San Francisco office.
Compensation
Base salary: $150,000 – $190,000
Total compensation includes base salary, meaningful equity, and a full benefits package. Final comp will depend on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined through the interview process.
