About the Role
We’re looking for a Lead Procurement Business Partner to serve as the strategic procurement owner across Snyk’s Finance, Legal, Corporate Information Systems, and People & Workplace verticals. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the VP of Procurement.
You’re a business partner first, with an obsession for customer centricity. In an environment where speed and impact are equally valued, you’ll build frameworks that enable the business rather than slow it down — owning purchase management, month-end close processes, and systems hygiene across the verticals that underpin our operational and organizational growth.
What You’ll Do
Business Partnership (~50%)
• Strategic partnership: Embed within Finance, Legal, Corporate Information Systems, and People leadership, attending planning cycles and supplier strategy discussions
• Procurement execution: Own the full Source-to-Pay (S2P) lifecycle for all G&A commodities — SaaS, Professional Services, Real Estate & Facilities, Resource Augmentation — including net-new purchases and renewals
• Stakeholder translation: Translate complex sourcing and financial concepts for non-procurement stakeholders; build trust through responsiveness and results
• Executive partnership: Be the face of Procurement for G&A leadership (CFO, CPO, CIO, CEO) — the go-to escalation point for operational issues and spend health updates
• FP&A alignment: Set and communicate budget requirements with FP&A, keep spend within guardrails, and contribute to annual planning
Systems & Process Excellence (~30%)
• P2P adoption: Champion adoption and optimization across G&A, driving compliance, UX improvements, and workflow automation
• Data quality: Partner with Finance Systems, Business Analytics, Strategy, and Accounting to improve data quality, GL coding accuracy, and spend visibility
• Risk & controls: Partner with Legal, GRC, and Enterprise Security to strengthen contract lifecycle management, TPRM, and risk-appropriate controls
• Cycle-time reduction: Cut P2P cycle time through automation, self-service, and AI-assisted tooling
• SaaS stack management: Partner with the CIO to rationalize Snyk’s SaaS stack, consolidating tools and leveraging Snyk’s own AI capabilities over new purchases
• Spend ownership: Own SaaS/subscription spend currently on credit card, and build a plan to shift it to invoiced billing and/or reseller arrangements
• System ownership: Act as SME for Coupa, identifying process improvements with Accounting and Business Applications
Financial Close & Controls (~20%)
• Close ownership: Own month-end close activities — accrual submissions, PO management, spend reconciliation — with Accounting and FP&A
• PO hygiene: Ensure timely PO creation, receipt matching, and proactive communication of large commitments to Finance
• Accrual accuracy: Drive accuracy through scalable open PO reviews and prepaid management
• Forecasting support: Surface supplier commitment data to support accurate budget-to-actual reporting
• Audit readiness: Keep every request and PO audit-ready with clean, reportable metadata
What You Bring
• 7+ years of progressive procurement experience, including 5+ years in enterprise tech, SaaS, cybersecurity or hyperscaler environments
• An “AI-first” mindset and curiosity about applying AI to procurement operations
• Customer-centric, with a track record of building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence effectively
• A bias for action, with strong time management and a natural sense of urgency
• Experience in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation across G&A categories (professional services, real estate/facilities, corporate information systems, HR/workforce)
• Working knowledge of procurement-adjacent accounting: accruals, prepaid expenses, PO management, month-end close
• Hands-on experience with modern procurement platforms and ERPs
• Proven ability to build structure in high-velocity, ambiguous environments without slowing the business down
• Strong grasp of controls, segregation of duties, and compliance across Procurement, Legal, Security, and Finance
• A passion for turning manual processes into structured, automated, audit-ready systems
• Tenacity and resilience to drive results, even in ambiguous settings
It’d Be Awesome If You Also…
• Have hands-on experience with Coupa (P2P), Tropic (I2P), or similar enter prise procurement suites
• Have worked in hyper-growth, scaling environments
• Bring experience with Real Estate/Workplace procurement at scale
• Are proficient with BI tools for spend analysis and reporting

Talent Business Partner Director
Job Description
Snyk is the leader in secure AI software development, helping millions of developers develop fast and stay secure as AI transforms how software is built. Our AI-native Developer Security Platform integrates seamlessly into development and security workflows, making it easy to find, fix, and prevent vulnerabilities — from code and dependencies to containers and cloud.
Our mission is to empower every developer to innovate securely in the AI era — boosting productivity while reducing business risk. We’re not your average security company – we build Snyk on One Team, Care Deeply, Customer Centric, and Forward Thinking.
It’s how we stay driven, supportive, and always one step ahead as AI reshapes our world.
Why this role?
We’re looking for an experienced Talent Business Partner Director (HRBP) to serve as the strategic people partner to Snyk’s global R&D organization – our engineering, product, and design teams building the developer security platform that protects millions of developers.
You’ll sit at the table with senior R&D leaders as a trusted advisor on talent strategy, org design, and how we build and scale high-performing technical teams, while staying close enough to the day-to-day to coach managers and unblock real issues as they come up. This role currently operates as an individual contributor with the opportunity to build and lead a team as R&D’s people needs grow.
What You’ll Do:
- Acting as a strategic thought partner to R&D’s senior leadership, including VP and C-level stakeholders, on org design, workforce planning, and the people strategy that supports Snyk’s product and engineering roadmap.
- Coaching and developing engineering and product managers at every level – from first-time managers to senior leaders – on team building, performance, and difficult conversations.
- Partnering with R&D leadership on organizational design, team scaling, and restructuring, bringing a clear point of view on how technical orgs should be structured to move fast without losing cohesion.
- Leading complex or sensitive employee relations matters within R&D, exercising sound judgment and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory considerations across the regions where our R&D teams sit.
- Using people data and workforce analytics to spot trends across the R&D org – attrition, engagement, promotion velocity – and turning those insights into concrete recommendations for leadership.
- Driving R&D’s participation in company-wide talent programs, including talent calibration, compensation reviews, and performance cycles, adapting the process where needed for a technical, global workforce.
- Identifying and developing high-potential talent within R&D, and partnering with Talent Acquisition on critical technical hiring and succession planning for key roles.
- Partnering cross-functionally with Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Growth, and People Operations to make sure R&D’s people programs are cohesive with the broader Snyk people strategy.
- Mentoring other members of the People team and contributing a strong point of view to how the wider People function evolves as Snyk scales.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of progressive HR/People experience, including several years supporting Engineering, Product, R&D, or another technical organization, ideally in a high-growth software or security company.
- A track record of partnering directly with senior (VP/C-level) technical leaders as a trusted advisor, not just an execution partner.
Strong experience with organizational design and scaling – you have a real point of view on how to structure technical teams as they grow, and you’ve been in the room for reorgs, not just briefed on them afterward. - Sound, consistent judgment on sensitive employee relations matters, with working knowledge of employment practices across multiple countries (Snyk’s R&D org spans the US, UK, Israel, Romania, and beyond).
- A genuinely analytical mindset – you’re comfortable pulling apart people data to find the story in it, and you use it to influence decisions rather than just report on them.
- The ability to operate at multiple altitudes in the same day: advising a VP on succession planning in the morning, coaching a first-time manager through a hard conversation in the afternoon.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the judgment to know when a message needs polish and when it needs to be direct and human.
- Experience building or scaling people programs in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment – you’re energized by building the plane while flying it, not just running a mature playbook.
It’d Be Awesome If You Also…
- Experience mentoring more junior colleagues across the people organization.
- SHRM, HRCI, CIPD or equivalent HR certification.
- Have implemented AI into your daily work life.
Annual Base Salary Range: $170,000 – $220,000 + 20% annual bonus
Snyk is committed to equal pay for equal work and carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors. Actual compensation may vary based on prior experience, skills, location, internal equity, and other job-related factors. Our Total Rewards program includes, but is not limited to, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and health, dental, and vision insurance.

Why this role?
We are seeking a People Operations Coordinator to join our Total Rewards and People Operations team. In this role, you will be essential in supporting the day-to-day life cycle of Snykers by handling key aspects of onboarding and employee transitions efficiently and accurately. You will own tasks that contribute directly to a seamless employee experience. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into the world of People Operations / HR.
We are open to hiring this position in our Boston or London Office.
What You’ll Do
- Partner closely with the People Team and cross-functional stakeholders to execute People Operations processes, policies, and programs globally with a focus on a best-in-class employee experience and data integrity.
- Own core employee lifecycle transactions, such as offer letters, I-9/right-to-work checks, and Workday transactions – keeping every case accurate, timely, and audit-ready.
- Support internal and external audits by pulling documentation and evidence on request, and maintain I-9/right-to-work records in line with statutory retention requirements across geographies.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding logistics, ensuring a smooth and welcoming pre-start experience.
- Review records for data integrity in support of employee transactions.
- Serve as the first line of contact for employees with questions regarding People Operations processes. Own the People Team’s inbound request queue — triage, resolve, or route every case, and meet response-time expectation.
- Own and maintain the team’s resource library, ensuring documents, policies, and templates stay current, well-organized, and easily accessible to all team members.
- Look for opportunities to bring AI into your work. When a task could be done better or faster with AI, try that approach first.
- Bring an AI-first lens to every process you touch, and surface automation opportunities to the People Operations Team Leads.
What You Bring
- 0-2 years of experience working in a people centric role, or an interest in pursuing a career within People Operations.
- Genuinely AI-first. You reach for AI by default and can show us how you’ve used AI to solve real problems.
- Ability to work within a distributed team in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- A curious mindset – you ask why before jumping into how, and look for the reasoning behind a process rather than just following it.
- Ability to learn new responsibilities quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- You treat employee questions as the work, not an interruption – and you follow through until the person actually has an answer.
- Strong prioritization instincts; you’re calm and organized when everything feels urgent.
It’d be awesome if you also…
- Have some basic experience with Workday, UKG, or Ashby.
- Have knowledge of global HR operations and compliance across multiple geographies.
Annual Base Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000.

Staff Security Engineer
We are hiring a Staff Security Engineer to own cloud and identity security for Snyk’s own multi-cloud estate. This is the senior technical seat for cloud security posture across AWS and GCP, for the security of our enterprise identity platform, and for the AI-driven automation that lets a team our size defend an estate this large.
The role is adversarial and threat driven rather than compliance driven. We want someone who looks at a cloud environment the way an attacker does: who can trace a path from an over-permissioned role or an exposed workload through to real business impact, and who then closes off the whole class of problem instead of the single finding. Detection matters here. Prevention matters more. The goal is that insecure configurations cannot be deployed in the first place.
This position can be hired remotely, ideally within the EST/CST timezone.
What you’ll do:
- Owning cloud security posture across AWS and GCP – Driving coverage and signal quality, prioritising by exploitability rather than raw severity counts, holding remediation accountability with the teams that own the resources, and reporting posture as a trend over time.
- Leading cloud IAM and least privilege. Designing and enforcing permission models across accounts and projects: organization level policy and guardrails, permission boundaries, cross-account role design, workload identity federation, and the full lifecycle of non-human identities, keys, and secrets.
- Owning the security posture of our enterprise identity platform. Authentication and authorization policy, phishing resistant MFA, privileged access, joiner mover leaver enforcement, and the identity signals that reveal account compromise or insider risk.
- Hunting and eliminating cloud attack paths. Reasoning about chained privilege escalation, lateral movement between accounts and workloads, and data exposure, then removing the conditions that make those chains possible.
- Building preventative guardrails. Pushing controls into infrastructure as code modules, admission control, CI checks, and organization policy so that misconfigurations fail before deployment rather than getting caught afterwards.
- Building AI and agentic automation for security work. Using LLMs and agents to automate posture remediation, access reviews, cloud evidence gathering, and investigation enrichment. Turning repeatable expert judgment into tooling the whole team can run.
- Securing Snyk’s AI adoption. Establishing the controls for internal AI and agent use: permissions and blast radius for autonomous agents, tool and MCP server trust, third party AI risk review, and the identity and data boundaries AI systems operate within.
- Securing the cloud infrastructure behind Snyk’s AI capabilities. IAM, network segmentation, and data controls for the accounts, model workloads, and pipelines that power our AI features.
- Strengthening cloud detection and response. Making sure cloud control plane and workload telemetry produces detections that fire on real attacker behaviour, and acting as the cloud subject matter expert during incidents.
- Defending the edge. WAF and DDoS posture, plus cloud deception coverage that catches an intruder early.
- Partnering across teams. Working with Platform and Infrastructure Engineering, Product Security, and Compliance to land controls through influence rather than mandate. This includes supporting the cloud controls in our public sector environment, which is a smaller part of the role.
Raising the team’s cloud ceiling. Mentoring engineers, acting as an escalation point for complex cloud investigations, and taking part in the EntSec on-call rotation.
What You’ll Need
- 8+ years in security engineering, including at least 4 focused specifically on securing cloud environments at production scale.
Expert level AWS security and strong working knowledge of GCP. You can reason about IAM policy evaluation, organization level guardrails, network and VPC design, key management and encryption, and logging architecture without reaching for the documentation. - Deep, hands-on cloud IAM expertise. Designing least privilege models across multi-account and multi-project estates, right-sizing over-permissioned roles without breaking production, and managing non-human identities, workload identity federation, and secrets at scale.
An attacker’s understanding of cloud. You know how cloud environments actually get compromised (credential and token abuse, IAM privilege escalation chains, metadata and workload identity abuse, exposed storage and services, CI/CD and supply chain paths) and you design controls against those paths rather than against a checklist. - Real ownership of an enterprise CSPM or CNAPP platform. Onboarding accounts, tuning signal to noise, building remediation workflows, and holding the line on posture metrics over time. Infrastructure as code and genuine coding ability. Terraform, Python or Go.Kubernetes security in the cloud. RBAC, service accounts and token handling, admission control, workload identity, network policy, and container runtime posture.
- Practical experience applying AI to engineering work. You have built something real with LLM APIs or agent frameworks, and you understand AI specific risk (prompt injection, over-permissioned agents and tools, untrusted tool and MCP servers, data leakage) well enough to design controls for it.
- Enterprise identity platform security. Hands-on with a major IdP: policy design, federation, phishing resistant authentication, privileged access, and access review.
- Cloud detection fundamentals. Cloud provider audit logs and native threat detection services, what good cloud detection logic looks like, and how cloud telemetry lands and gets queried in a SIEM.
- Strong written communication and stakeholder influence.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or information technology, or equivalent practical experience.
We’d be Lucky if You
- Have worked in the DevSecOps, cloud security, or AI industry, or have defended a security product company.
- Have built agentic security tooling, MCP servers, or internal AI platforms, and have well formed opinions about where they should and should not be trusted.
- Have done cloud incident response or cloud threat hunting on a real intrusion.
- Have contributed to open source cloud security tooling, or published research on cloud attack techniques.
- Have led a cloud migration or a multi-cloud consolidation and lived with the security consequences.
- Have worked in a FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or similar regulated cloud environment.
- Hold relevant security certifications. None are required, but they are welcomed.
- Examples include:
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
- SANS / GIAC: GPCS (Public Cloud Security), GCLD (Cloud Security Essentials), GCSA (Cloud Security Automation), GCFR (Cloud Forensics Responder), GDSA (Defensible Security Architecture), GCPN (Cloud Penetration Tester)
- AWS Certified Security Specialty
- Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
- Examples include:
Annual Base Salary Range: $170,000 – $205,000 + bonus.
