Company Description
Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist, your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, “They’ll be in touch soon.” So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often providers are overwhelmed with the painstakingly tedious work required to get paid by insurance companies. Powered by proprietary models, Tennr handles the complex paperwork that gets patients through the door and providers paid, helping operators get patients the right care, at the right time, in the right setting.
Role Description
Tennr is looking for a Product Operations Associate to own the day-to-day operations of one of Tennr's products, working closely with Product, Product Operations, and Engineering. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role on a fast-moving team. You will help shape how the product evolves within the broader Tennr platform amongst a diverse and rapidly scaling customer base. We are looking for someone to pick up Tennr’s platform and tooling on day one and help scale a product support team. You will also build and iterate on product enablement materials, collaborating closely with Sales, Business Operations, and Customer Experience teams. Over time, you will interface with customers and be a key part of gathering and implementing customer feedback.
Responsibilities
Prioritize and assign work and close out each day with a clear status on what's outstanding, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Train and support a growing team, answer first-pass questions, and coach on quality and turnaround as product volume grows.
Help customers scale with the product. Dig into codes, payers, and customer data across dashboards and spreadsheets to find gaps Tennr isn't capturing yet and make the case for going after them.
Transform customer insights and data into functionality on the product roadmap, file tickets so that engineering can act fast, and flag priorities so the right things ship first.
Get hands-on by doing the detailed operational work yourself when it's needed. No task is beneath the role.
Build the playbook. Document how the process actually works so it scales past any one person, including yourself.
Candidate Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in management consulting, high-growth startups, healthcare operations, or finance.
Relentlessly detail-oriented. You catch small issues before they become real problems.
Comfortable in dashboards, spreadsheets, and messy data.
A self-starter who reasons from first principles when you hit something unfamiliar, you work it out rather than waiting to be told.
Calm and resourceful when the day gets chaotic. You keep things moving without being asked.
Operate with discretion and judgment, comfortable navigating payer portals and other systems.
Bonus: background in healthcare, medicine, or public health; prior authorization or payer-side operations experience; familiarity with medical billing (HCPCS/J-codes, ICD-10); exposure to structured data (JSON/FHIR) or tools like Linear.
Why Tennr?
Drive impact: one of our company values is Cowboy, meaning you set the pace. You won't just talk about things, you'll get them done, and feel the impact.
Develop operational expertise: learn how payer operations and a scaling product actually work from the inside.
Innovate with purpose: join a high-caliber team maniacally focused on reducing patient delays across the U.S. healthcare system.
Build relationships: collaborate and connect with driven people in our Hudson Square office, 4 days/week.
Free lunch! Plus a pantry full of snacks.

Company Description
Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist (e.g., for sleep apnea), your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, “They’ll be in touch soon.” So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often specialists and medical services are overwhelmed with referrals and the painstakingly manual process it takes to qualify your referral prevents them from getting around to it on time, or sometimes at all. Tennr prevents these delays and denials by making sure every referral gets where it needs to go, with the right info, at the right time. Powered by RaeLM™ Tennr reads, extracts, and acts on every piece of patient information so providers can capture more referrals, slash denials, and reduce delays.
Role Description
One of the ways Tennr’s marketing team connects with and helps create value for our various audiences is by providing them with novel, useful information and analysis. We’re looking for a new member of the team to take on this responsibility fully.
Because each audience segment is unique and nuanced, and because the situation facing each audience segment is rapidly changing, we need someone who can treat these situations with journalistic curiosity. You’ll spend a lot of your time talking to members of the healthcare industry, including but by no means limited to Tennr’s customers and prospects, to find out what today’s important stories are. You will be responsible for researching, understanding, and distilling the relevant information necessary to tell those stories. And finally, you will enjoy complete ownership over the ways in which we package and deliver those stories for our audiences.
This is technically content marketing, but its goal is entirely limited to creating value for our audience members—none of our content “sells.” It’s more like a reporting job with a focus on feature writing that just happens to be at a SaaS company. You'll have support for design, distribution, and web development, but you'll own both the substance of your stories and the results. We’re in it for the long game, but we also move extremely fast, so we’re looking for someone who can hustle and keep up.
Responsibilities
Identify stories and opportunities for Tennr to produce helpful material for our audiences
Research topics and interview sources to thoroughly understand the situation and information you’re writing about
Deliver content across news, educational resources, data storytelling, industry analysis, or market analysis—basically, anything you think our audiences will be interested in
Help support Tennr’s content needs outside of your core storytelling responsibilities, including running occasional webinars and helping prepare speakers for talks at conferences
Join us in-person four days a week at our spacious office in Hudson Square (with the fifth day remote-optional)
Candidate qualifications
A writer who’s obsessed with craft and clarity
An experienced journalist with at least 3 years’ experience at a newspaper, industry publication, or other media company
A curious person who needs to know the whole story and who isn’t afraid to do truly deep research
A college graduate, or someone with enough additional comparable journalism experience to replace the degree
Someone who thinks it’s rude to expect audiences to read AI-generated work
Ideally, someone whose prior reporting experience (or other work experience) has focused on some aspect of healthcare, especially through the lens of business

Resume
Optional cover letter, but only if it explains why you want this specific role.

Role Description
We're hiring our first paralegal to join Tennr's legal team. You'll work directly with our two attorneys across the full range of legal work at a high-growth health-tech company, with a heavy emphasis on commercial contracts.
Today, our attorneys handle everything: drafting, negotiating, and reviewing customer and vendor agreements, building and maintaining compliance programs, advising product and business development teams, and managing corporate governance. We need someone who can manage the operational side of our legal function, take on contract drafting and review review, and help us build the internal resources and scalable processes that a high-growth company like us needs.
Key Responsibilities
You'll be embedded in the work from day one. You'll review and draft contracts, manage deal flow, maintain our contract repository, and create the templates, playbooks, and guides that help our internal teams work with Legal more effectively. As you build fluency in our business and contracts, you'll take on increasing responsibility for managing the contract lifecycle end to end, serving as a first point of contact for routine contracting matters and escalating to the attorneys as needed. A more detailed description of your anticipated responsibilities is below.
Contract Drafting, Contract Management, and Legal Operations
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including SaaS subscription agreements, order forms, BAAs, NDAs, vendor agreements, and partnership agreements
Serve as the first point of escalation for routine contracting questions from Sales and Business Development, routing complex or novel issues to the attorneys
Maintain and organize Tennr's contract repository across SpotDraft, DocuSign, and Salesforce, including managing contract workflows end-to-end and tracking active contract obligations.
Support the procurement process and maintain visibility into vendor agreements and compliance requirements
Assist with corporate governance tasks as needed, including maintaining corporate records and supporting board-related processes
Cross-Functional Enablement
Develop and maintain internal legal resources: contract playbooks, FAQ documents, written guidelines for teams
Create internal reference materials such as ambassador program documentation, product-specific walkthroughs, and compliance guides
Attend or distill notes from cross-functional meetings to identify emerging legal needs and areas where teams could benefit from additional guidance or resources
Support compliance tracking by helping build and maintain team-specific compliance calendars and audit documentation
Compliance Support
Assist with compliance monitoring and documentation, helping to build and maintain records supporting Tennr's compliance programs, including HIPAA-related obligations
Candidate Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a paralegal, contracts specialist, or in a similar role within an in-house legal department or law firm, ideally supporting a technology or healthcare company
Hands-on experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts (SaaS, technology, or services agreements); you understand how provisions interact, not just how to check them against a list
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams (active deal flow, repository maintenance, internal projects) with minimal supervision
Excellent legal writing skills for both contract markup and clear, usable internal documents and guidelines
Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools (SpotDraft, Ironclad, Agiloft, or similar) or demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
A proactive mindset: you notice when a recurring question should become a written resource, when a process could be improved, or when a team needs support before they ask for it
Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities shift and the role will evolve
Nice to Have
Experience working in healthcare, health-tech, or a similarly regulated industry
Familiarity with HIPAA, BAA requirements, or healthcare data privacy
Experience with AI-assisted legal tools or contract review automation (e.g., building or configuring playbooks in AI-powered review platforms, designing automated intake or review workflows)
Interest in or experience with process design and workflow automation for legal operations: building systems that reduce manual work and let a small team scale
Experience building self-service legal resources, internal knowledge bases, or intake workflows
Familiarity with Salesforce and DocuSign from an administrative or configuration perspective
Why Tennr?
Drive Impact: one of our company values is Cowboy, meaning you set the pace. You won’t just talk about things, you’ll get them done. And feel the impact.
Develop Operational Expertise: learn the inner workings of scaling systems, tools, and infrastructure.
