Tonkean is the world’s first totally customizable process experience platform. With Tonkean, you can create intelligent, personalized automations that integrate with every app or system your organization uses. You can cultivate an employee experience that democratizes access to innovative technologies traditionally only available to highly trained developers. You can enable employees to focus more fully on high-value tasks, because you can enable them to automate low-value tasks. You can create inbox solutions that automatically analyze, prioritize, and route unstructured requests coming from any source, and you can track the status of action items as employees collaborate across teams to complete them. And you can design processes that employees are guaranteed to adopt and benefit from no matter their technical acumen, because Tonkean meets employees where they are—eliminating the need for change management—and is 100% no-code.
At Tonkean, we believe that all this—compliance, efficiency, operational excellence—requires high levels of process adoption. But to ensure high levels of process adoption, you need to create processes that provide a great employee experience: that serve employees’ needs, understand their preferences, and solve their problems.
To that end, you need a barrier-breaking technology partner. That’s what Tonkean seeks to be.
ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Implementation Engineer, you will design and build sophisticated workflow applications for some of the world's largest enterprises using Tonkean's no-code platform.
This is not a traditional implementation or configuration role.
You will think like a software engineer—breaking down business problems into logical systems, designing data flows, integrating data sources, troubleshooting complex behaviors, and building scalable solutions—without writing production application code.
Every customer implementation is different. You'll build intelligent workflows that orchestrate people, systems, AI, and business rules across dozens of enterprise applications.
If you enjoy solving technical puzzles, thinking in systems, and building software that customers immediately use, you'll thrive here.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Design and build production-ready workflow applications that combine AI, business logic, enterprise integrations, and intuitive user experiences to solve complex business challenges.
Translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions, designing workflow logic that accounts for real-world complexity, edge cases, and evolving business needs.
Build intelligent automations that orchestrate approvals, routing, SLAs, exception handling, and business rules across enterprise processes.
Connect enterprise systems using native connectors, and data transformations to create seamless end-to-end workflows.
Create AI-powered experiences that analyze requests, automate decisions, and guide users through complex business processes.
Troubleshoot workflows, integrations, and data synchronization issues while optimizing performance and reliability.
Collaborate with workflow architects and customers to iterate on solutions throughout implementation, testing, and deployment.
Develop reusable workflow components, implementation patterns, and best practices that improve delivery across the organization.
Demonstrate completed solutions to customers, incorporate feedback, and contribute ideas that shape the future of the Tonkean platform.
ABOUT YOU
5+ years designing or building technical solutions for enterprise customers.
Strong systems thinking with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable workflows and automation.
Experience implementing SaaS, workflow automation, integration, or low-code solutions in complex enterprise environments.
Familiarity with JSON, data transformations, and system integrations.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose technical issues where there isn't an obvious answer.
Comfortable learning new technologies, products, and business domains quickly.
Experience translating technical documentation and customer requirements into working solutions.
Excellent logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working directly with customers to understand requirements, demonstrate solutions, and iterate based on feedback.
Experience with workflow automation, integration, or low-code platforms.
Software development experience in any language.
Experience working with AI-powered products or enterprise automation.

ROLE OVERVIEW
As the Director of Product Marketing at Tonkean, you will own how our platform is understood, positioned, and sold.
This is not a traditional product marketing role focused only on messaging and launches. You will be responsible for creating clarity across the organization—ensuring that product, marketing, and sales are aligned around a narrative that drives revenue.
You will operate at the center of the business, working cross-functionally with product, sales, customer success, and leadership to translate complex capabilities into clear, differentiated value.
This role requires both strategic ownership and hands-on execution.
Do you enjoy bringing structure to ambiguity? Do you push beyond “best practices” to find what actually works? Are you energized by simplifying complex platforms into compelling stories that win deals? If so, this role could be for you.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Own positioning and messaging across Tonkean’s platform and products, ensuring clarity, consistency, and differentiation
Translate product capabilities into compelling, sales-ready narratives that drive pipeline and revenue
Build and maintain core GTM assets: pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, demos, and use case frameworks
Lead competitive positioning and enablement against key players
Partner with sales and solutions teams to improve win rates and strengthen deal execution
Develop and execute GTM strategies for product launches and major feature releases
Establish a consistent feedback loop from customers, prospects, and deals to inform messaging and product direction
Work closely with product to help shape how capabilities are framed, packaged, and brought to market
Drive alignment across marketing, product, and sales to eliminate conflicting narratives and improve execution
Support demand generation with clear messaging and insights that improve campaign performance
Partner with analysts, customers, and the market to strengthen Tonkean’s category position
ABOUT YOU

Experience selling into complex enterprise environments (procurement, legal, finance, IT)
Proven ability to create clear, differentiated positioning for complex products
Track record of influencing cross-functional teams and driving alignment across product, sales, and marketing
Experience improving sales effectiveness and contributing to revenue outcomes—not just producing assets
Strong strategic thinking combined with a willingness to execute hands-on
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
Experience storyboarding and building product demos that clearly communicate value and differentiate in competitive deals
Ability to translate messaging into compelling demo flows that align with how buyers evaluate solutions
Strong understanding of how demos are used in enterprise sales cycles and how to optimize them for impact
Experience with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma or similar) to create high-quality visuals, demo environments, and storytelling assets
Ability to independently create or iterate on demo assets, mockups, and product narratives without relying entirely on design resources
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate market and customer insights into action
High ownership mentality and ability to operate in fast-paced, evolving environments
Experience working with analysts, agencies, and external partners

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
