Principal Software Engineer, Site Reliability
Life at UiPath
The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We’re committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power.
To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who care—about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose.
Could that be you?
Your mission
At UiPath’s Site Reliability team, we build the platforms and systems that the entire company depends on to deliver on our compliance and SLA promises to customers. This spans monitoring, alerting, cloud infrastructure, access management, standardized synthetics, performance and test validation, incident detection and status reporting, incident management, automated remediation, structured post-mortems, customer communications, repair item tracking, and assertion of engineering best practices across UiPath. We are scaling each of these pillars - and building the next generation of capabilities on each, increasingly powered by AI.
This is a software engineering role.
You will not be the person who identifies a reliability gap and files a ticket for another team to fix. You are the engineer who identifies the gap, designs the system that closes it, builds it, ships it, and drives its adoption - often by doing the integration work yourself rather than asking other teams to come to you. You build platforms that other engineers depend on in their critical path, and you hold yourself accountable to outcomes, not outputs.
You treat every system you ship as a product: you put it in front of users early, seek feedback, and iterate until it delivers real results. If adoption is slow, you don’t blame the docs - you sit with the team, understand the friction, and remove it.
What you'll do at UiPath
Design, engineer, and build SRE platform systems and capabilities with cutting-edge AI, treating them as products that other engineering teams depend on in their critical path.
Participate in livesite monitoring rotations, handle escalations, and drive effective mitigations - reducing customer impact through broad, detailed, and effective post-mortems.
Drive availability, scalability, and performance improvements based on livesite learnings. Generate (or codify existing) best practices and ensure they are followed widely across UiPath - not by publishing guidance, but by embedding them into the systems you build.
Ensure technical deliverables meet or exceed expectations on reliability, scalability, quality, and performance. Identify and drive architectural changes that significantly move the needle on these dimensions.
Onboard other teams onto your platforms by driving outcomes yourself - writing the integrations, pairing with their engineers, removing friction - rather than handing off documentation and waiting.
Ship early, seek feedback relentlessly, and iterate fast. Treat every user complaint as a design input, not a support ticket.
Drive task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing.
Mentor Software Engineers to develop their skills and knowledge through hands-on coaching, advice, and training opportunities.
Participate in and influence process improvements and best practices across the engineering organization.
What you'll bring to the team
Proven track record (10+ years) of architecting and engineering world-class, large-scale, distributed commercial applications and services, and ensuring customer success.
Experience building large-scale, complex internal platforms adopted by 10+ teams in their critical path at a large company — systems that have stood the test of time, not prototypes that were handed off or abandoned.
Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of your systems by doing the hard work yourself: writing integrations, removing friction for other teams, and measuring success by outcomes delivered - not features shipped.
Experience building and maintaining complex AI-powered applications in production.
Proficiency in one or more object-oriented languages (such as C#, C++, Java, or Python), backed by solid computer science fundamentals.
Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, synchronization, asynchronous patterns, and cloud programming.
Experience with service-oriented and microservice-based architectures, HTTP applications, and web services development.
Familiarity with modern engineering practices including agile development, CI/CD, and DevOps. Ability to work with globally distributed teams.
Experience working with or managing production Kubernetes infrastructure is a plus.
Experience with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and managed services (AKS, GKE, etc.) is a plus.
Experience with database backends (e.g., Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Azure Data Lake, Power BI, MongoDB, MySQL, DynamoDB, etc.).
Maybe you don’t tick all the boxes above—but still think you’d be great for the job? Go ahead, apply anyway. Please. Because we know that experience comes in all shapes and sizes—and passion can’t be learned.
Many of our roles allow for flexibility in when and where work gets done. Depending on the needs of the business and the role, the number of hybrid, office-based, and remote workers will vary from team to team. Applications are assessed on a rolling basis and there is no fixed deadline for this requisition. The application window may change depending on the volume of applications received or may close immediately if a qualified candidate is selected.
We value a range of diverse backgrounds, experiences and ideas. We pride ourselves on our diversity and inclusive workplace that provides equal opportunities to all persons regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression, national origin, disability, neurodiversity, military and/or veteran status, or any other protected classes. Principal Product Manager (Agentic Automation)
We're seeking a Principal Product Manager to join our team to help advance our Agentic Automation vision. You'll drive product direction across how coding agents build and operate automations on UiPath, how UiPath's own coding agents and Autopilots are extended, and how non-deterministic agents (conversational, autonomous, computer use) take on tasks inside complex business processes — including the emerging patterns the industry is still inventing: skills and tool surfaces for external coding agents like Claude Code, agent-to-agent handoffs, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, composing deterministic workflows with non-deterministic reasoning, evals and observability for agent behavior, and more.
This is a high-agency, AI-native role. You will not be running status meetings. You will be deep in the product: testing, prototyping with coding agents, talking to customers and FDEs, and turning what you learn into crisp direction for the engineers building it. Influence, not headcount, will be your default leverage.
Your north star will be builders shipping automations faster with agents reliably carrying real work in production: capable enough for the most ambitious processes, and dependable enough that enterprises trust them with non-deterministic tasks.
What you'll do at UiPath
Own the multi-year vision for how agents (UiPath's and third-party) build and operate automations across the platform.
Extend UiPath to work with external coding agents: design the skills, tools, and APIs that let agents like Claude Code author, run, and debug automations against the platform.
Help evolve UiPath's own coding agents (AutoPilots): what they can build, how they reason about a process, and how they hand off to humans and to other agents.
Define how non-deterministic agents (conversational, autonomous, computer use) slot into complex business processes alongside deterministic workflows, with clear contracts for when each is used.
Partner with the largest and most demanding customers on production deployments. Go deep enough to know which specific step failed and what would fix it.
Use the platform as a builder. Stand up agents, wire them into real processes, use coding agents aggressively to prototype and ship reference implementations. If you need a working example to make a point, build one.
Translate the fast-moving agent landscape (tool/skill ecosystems, orchestration frameworks, evals, computer-use models) into a coherent UiPath point of view and a shipping product.
Define the metrics that matter (e.g. task success rate, time-to-build automation, human interventions per run, agent reliability in production) and prioritize ruthlessly.
Represent UiPath's agentic automation story externally with customers, partners, and industry forums.
What you'll bring to the team
8+ years in technical PM or eng roles with specific emphasis on automation, workflow/orchestration platforms, developer platforms, or applied agentic AI. Proven track record of shipping infrastructure that builders rely on.
Prior experience building business process orchestration, workflow engines, or agent platforms. You've designed the systems that coordinate work across steps, services, and actors.
Deep fluency in agentic AI: tool-calling, MCP, coding agents, agent design patterns, computer use, evals and observability. You can read an agent trace and immediately see what's wrong with it.
A clear view on how deterministic automation and non-deterministic agents should compose, and where each belongs in a real business process.
Builder posture, AI-native. You write code (or prompt agents to) to test ideas and ship prototypes. You treat coding agents as leverage. You do not simply write specs or decks and wait.
First-principles thinker, comfortable in ambiguity. Can produce a defensible direction in days, not quarters.
Sharp communicator: a position doc that inspires bold decisions, a technical explanation a skeptical architect trusts, a demo that closes the room.
Comfortable with regulated, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
Ideal Background
Built automation, orchestration, developer-platform, or agent products at a frontier lab, hyperscaler, RPA/automation vendor, or as an early PM at a startup in the space.
Has gone 0 → 1 and felt the weight of it. Startup or founding PM style experience strongly preferred.
Has opinions about where agentic automation is going in the next 24 months, with receipts

Director, Product Management, Governance (Identity & Auth)
Life at UiPath
The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We’re committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power.
To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who care—about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose.
Could that be you?
Your mission
We're seeking a Director, Product Management to join our Governance team. You'll drive product direction across human and agent identity, delegated and scoped authorization, credential brokering, audit and attribution for non-human actors (agents), and the emerging patterns the industry is still inventing including agent-to-agent auth, MCP auth, OAuth flows for autonomous callers, just-in-time elevation, sandboxing, policy-as-code for tool access and more.
This is a high-agency, AI-native role. You will not be running status meetings. You will be deep in the product: testing, prototyping with coding agents, talking to customers and FDEs, and turning what you learn into crisp direction for the engineers building it. Influence, not headcount, will your default leverage.
Your north star will be enterprise trust translating into adoption: governance strict enough for the most regulated customers, and frictionless enough that builders don't route around it.
What you'll do at UiPath
Own the multi-year vision for identity, auth, and access governance across UiPath's agentic platform.
Evolve how identity (for agents, robots and humans) works at UiPath (provisioning, scoping, delegation, attestation, rotation, revocation) and set the patterns the rest of the platform builds on.
Drive the auth model for tool-calling and MCP: scoped consent, least-privilege execution, and audit trails that hold up in front of a compliance team.
Partner with the largest and most regulated customers (financial services, healthcare, public sector) on production deployments. Go deep enough to know which specific control failed and what would fix it.
Use the platform as a builder. Self-host, stand up agents, wire up auth flows, use coding agents aggressively to prototype and ship reference implementations. If you need a working example to make a point, build one.
Translate emerging standards (delegated OAuth for agents, verifiable credentials, MCP auth, policy engines like OPA/Cedar) into a coherent UiPath point of view and a shipping product.
Define the metrics that matter (e.g. time-to-grant, audit coverage, policy violations caught, developer friction) and prioritize ruthlessly.
Represent UiPath's governance story externally with customers, partners, and industry forums. Build the credibility that makes CISOs say yes.
What you'll bring to the team
10+ years in technical PM or eng roles with specific emphasis on security engineering, identity/IAM platform work, or technical GTM. Proven track record of shipping infrastructure enterprises trust.
Deep fluency in identity and auth: OAuth 2.x/OIDC, SAML, SCIM, JWT, mTLS, secrets management, RBAC/ABAC, policy engines, audit and SIEM integration. You can read an auth flow and immediately see what's wrong with it.
Working understanding of agentic AI (tool-calling, MCP, RAG, agent design patterns) and a clear view on how identity must evolve to support autonomous actors.
Sharp communicator: a position doc that inspires bold decisions, a technical explanation a CISO trusts, a demo that closes the room.
-
Comfortable with regulated, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
Ideal Background:
Shipped identity, auth, or security-platform products at a frontier lab, hyperscaler identity team, IAM vendor (Okta, Auth0, Entra, Ping), or as an early PM at a startup in the space.
Has gone 0 → 1 and felt the weight of it. Startup or founding PM style experience strongly preferred.
Has opinions about where agent identity is going in the next 24 months, with receipts.
Maybe you don’t tick all the boxes above—but still think you’d be great for the job? Go ahead, apply anyway. Please. Because we know that experience comes in all shapes and sizes—and passion can’t be learned.

How We Work
HLS operates like an internal startup inside UiPath: small teams, fast iteration, and real customers in the loop. We build quickly, test ideas with users, and turn the best ones into products. Some ideas won’t make it — that’s expected. You’ll work in short cycles, demo frequently, and adapt as we learn. We care more about solving the right problem than protecting a plan that no longer fits. If you enjoy ambiguity, rapid feedback, and building where product boundaries move fast, you’ll likely thrive here.

Principal Applied Scientist
Life at UiPath
The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We’re committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power.
To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who care—about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose.
Could that be you?
As a Principal Applied Scientist, you will lead the architecture, research, and productization of these next-generation ML systems, bridging deep research with deployment at scale and shaping the future of enterprise automation.
What You Will Do
• Define and drive technical strategy for agent-based automation, including how autonomous agents use LLMs, reinforcement learning, simulation environments, tool use, and multi-step reasoning to integrate with the UiPath platform.
• Architect, prototype, and deploy advanced ML and AI systems, covering LLM fine-tuning, multimodal pipelines, computer-use modeling, agent orchestration frameworks, and decision-making systems.
• Lead the design and implementation of ML infrastructure and services for model training, fine-tuning, large-scale inference, model serving, monitoring, drift detection, continuous learning loops, and ML operations for agentic systems.
• Partner closely with product, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to translate research advances into customer-facing capabilities.
• Research state-of-the-art techniques in prompting, retrieval-augmented generation, chain-of-thought, tool use, long-term memory, and RL or imitation learning for agent behavior, and apply them to automation workflows.
• Establish best practices, frameworks, and metrics for evaluating agentic systems, including offline evaluation, simulation environments, human-in-the-loop feedback, A/B testing, and cost, latency, and quality analysis.
• Serve as a technical leader and mentor across ML engineering, data science, and software engineering, fostering a culture of experimentation, reproducibility, versioning, and rigorous evaluation.
• Represent UiPath in the broader community through publications, open-source contributions, conference participation, and collaboration with academia or ecosystem partners.
What We Are Looking For
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of industry experience in machine learning, including substantial experience building and operating ML systems in production.
• Deep expertise in modern ML frameworks and libraries, strong proficiency in Python, and experience integrating ML models into large-scale software systems.
• Proven experience with large language models or foundation models, including fine-tuning, data preparation, inference optimization, or model evaluation.
• Experience with large datasets, distributed training or inference, scalable architecture design, and optimization for latency, throughput, and cost.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex ML concepts to product and business audiences.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in mentoring, influencing strategy, balancing research with delivery, and driving high-impact outcomes.
