ABOUT THE ROLE
Unify is at a major inflection point, having recently hired senior leadership across EPD and completing work on next-level architecture that will unlock so many exciting product opportunities. We’re looking for an experienced, system-minded Product Designer to lead one of our core product areas and help shape the DNA of an early-stage, high-velocity EPD org that’s building with the leading edge of AI.
What you’ll do
- Drive product strategy. You’ll work closely with leadership to define strategy, outcomes, and practical roadmaps for your area and the platform at large.
- Tame the frontier. You’ll get to lead the transformation of a complex, multi-primitive platform (data, signals, actions, sequencing, AI assistance, etc.) into coherent mental models and approachable workflows for GTM teams.
- Own one of our core product areas end‑to‑end. You’ll figure out user needs, break down big rocks, and design intuitive systems, flows, and interfaces. You’ll define clear problems and success metrics, then lead your team in delivering those.
- Design non-gimmicky AI-first workflows. You’ll get to explore how AI can make prospecting, prioritization, personalization, and follow‑through easier and more effective. What you’ll never be asked to do is use AI to replace human beings. We don’t like that here.
- Become an expert in the go-to-market space. You’ll learn how sales and marketing teams actually work, what they care about, where things break, and how we can improve them. At Unify we have unparalleled access to our users, and you’ll get to run regular research and quickly loop insights back into the product.
- Raise the bar for design at Unify. Mentor and support a small but talented team. You’ll be a generous collaborator and leader in critiques and jams, and a key voice in defining product principles, standards, systems, and what good looks like.
WHO YOU ARE…
- You thrive in small, fast teams. You like seeing your work actually materialize instead of getting stuck in bureaucratic limbo.
- You’re self-driven, collaborative, and enjoy working hard. Unify is an extremely high-trust environment, so we exclusively hire people who give a shit.
- You think in systems and have a strong track record of simplifying complex, technical products.
- You’re strategic and business-minded. You naturally tie your work back to metrics, outcomes, and a larger product vision. You’re comfortable owning a whole workstream and can explain why a design decision matters for users and for the business.
- You get things done. You’re well versed in breaking down big, ambiguous problems into manageable chunks. You energize and rally your teams to deliver.
- You lead by example. You set a high bar for yourself and for others around you.
- You have a low ego and can separate yourself from your work. You’re self-aware, curious, and always looking to grow.
- You’re a kind person who cares about people. You genuinely enjoy supporting the people around you. You like being around other kind people.
- You have 10+ years in Product Design. You have a lot of experience to draw from.
This is a hybrid role. We’re in‑person 3 days a week, either in SF or NYC.
Compensation / Benefits
• Unlimited PTO - take the time you need, when you need it
• Company-wide two-week holiday shutdown between Christmas and New Year’s
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
• 401(k) plan
• Generous parental leave
• Flexible work environment with high trust and autonomy
• DoorDash credits for lunch and dinner
• Thoughtful team offsites and in-person collaboration
• A team that genuinely cares about building something ambitious together

ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll join a very small, elite product team that works directly with Unify's founders and executive team. You'll own what we build and why.
Unify is building the future of go-to-market with AI. We have strong product instincts across our engineering and design teams — we're looking for someone to accelerate what we ship, fill gaps in our thinking, and make our product dramatically better for customers.
If you've built a product from nothing, run your own company, or been an early PM at a fast-growing startup — this is your kind of role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own the product. You'll define what we build alongside our founders — with strong opinions rooted in deep customer understanding and business context.
Drive strategy and execution for your pods. You'll be directly responsible for a couple of growth engineering pods — owning the roadmap, setting priorities, and making sure your teams are shipping the highest-impact work.
Ship end to end. Take ideas from napkin sketch to launched feature. You scope it, you ship it, you measure it, you iterate.
Be the voice of the customer. Talk to users constantly. Dig into usage data. Understand what they're actually trying to do. Turn those insights into product decisions.
Sweat the details on UX. You care about every click, every label, every flow. You catch the friction that everyone else walks past. You ship things that are simple, elegant, and delightful.
Raise the bar on product quality. You'll help set the standards for how product works at Unify — how we think about quality, how we make decisions, how we ship.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5–8 years building product, ideally at early-stage or high-growth B2B/SaaS companies. Bonus if you've founded a company or been an early employee at a startup with Growth experience
- You've shipped 0→1 products. You know what it's like to build something when there's no playbook.
- Deep product sense and UX instinct. You have strong taste and a track record of shipping products that users love.
- You move fast and make decisions with imperfect information. You're comfortable with ambiguity and would rather ship and learn than wait for certainty.
- You're technical enough to be dangerous. You can read a tech spec, understand system constraints, and have a real conversation with engineers about tradeoffs.
- You're metrics-driven. You define success upfront, instrument everything, and let data guide your iterations. You know which numbers matter and you move them.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. You can articulate a product vision, write a clear spec, and get a room aligned without relying on your title.
BONUS
- You've built AI-native products, automation tools, or sales/marketing tech.
- You've been a founder, co-founder, or early employee (first ~20) at a startup.
- You've lived in the world of sales, marketing, and revenue tools. You understand how the pipeline actually gets built, why reps hate their CRM, and what "outbound" really looks like day to day.
