Product Marketing Manager
About k-ID
k-ID helps the world's leading games, social platforms, consumer AI products, and other user-generated-content services stay compliant with child safety and privacy regulations across 200+ jurisdictions — and turn that compliance into safe, age-appropriate experiences for users of every age. We're building the infrastructure for a standardized, "age-aware internet": one where designers can build great products that are compliant by default.
We're a fast-moving, well-funded startup selling into enterprise gaming and platform teams. Marketing is being built from the ground up, and this role is an early, high-impact seat on that team.
The role
We're hiring our first dedicated product marketer. Our enterprise sales and account management team is established and closing — but every rep is running their own playbook: making their own materials, doing their own research, building their own enablement. What works in one deal never gets consolidated for the next. There is no standing library of enablement assets, no competitive program, no case studies, and no launch process. You will build all of it, turning what's working in the field into a shared, repeatable system.
This is a senior IC role with real ownership: you'll be the product marketing function, working directly with the Head of Marketing (who retains brand and positioning strategy), our sales and BD team, product and engineering, and our in-house legal and regulatory experts. The ideal candidate is a builder who can produce finished, high-quality assets themselves — not just briefs — and who can translate a technical product and a complex regulatory landscape into narratives enterprise buyers act on.
As the marketing team scales, this role is positioned to grow into product marketing leadership for the person who earns it.
What you'll do
Sales enablement (primary focus)
Build and maintain the core selling toolkit: pitch decks, product one-pagers, use-case breakdowns, objection-handling guides, and vertical-specific narratives — so reps stop building their own materials deal-by-deal and every conversation ships with current, on-message collateral.
Consolidate what's working in the field: capture the best plays, materials, and talk tracks reps have invented individually and turn them into shared, maintained assets and training.
Own the enablement cadence: train the sales team on new assets, messaging, and competitive updates; be their first call when a deal needs a sharper story.
Translate regulatory moments into selling motions — when a new regulation lands in a market, sellers should have a "here's what it means and here's the k-ID module that solves it" asset within days.
As our GTM org grows, arm new motions with messaging and materials — including a nascent outbound/SDR function (owned by demand gen, enabled by you).
Competitive intelligence
Build and run our competitive program: landscape map, battlecards for our top competitors, and a refresh cadence tied to win/loss learnings.
Stand up a lightweight win/loss loop so deal outcomes systematically feed messaging, battlecards, and product feedback.
Product narrative & markitecture
Codify the product story: markitecture diagram, per-product messaging docs, and a use-case library mapped to persona, vertical, and regulation across our portfolio (CDK, AgeKit+, neimo., Family Connect, Compliance Studio).
Operationalize and maintain our ICP and persona messaging — compliance counsel, trust & safety leads, and product execs each buy differently, and our materials should reflect that.
Own product-level web content: product pages, explainers, and the self-serve evaluation story.
Support packaging and portfolio narrative — how the products fit together, what's sold vs. bundled — in partnership with sales and product leadership.
Customer proof
Own case studies end-to-end: identify candidates, wrangle customer approvals, interview stakeholders, and ship polished, quantified stories.
Build the broader proof library: reference quotes, stats, and named-logo assets sales can pull from.
Launches & demos
Stand up a repeatable, tiered launch process so every meaningful release gets the right messaging, assets, and sales enablement.
Produce demo assets sellers actually use: product demo videos, click-throughs, and guided demo narratives — hands-on or by directing production, with fluent use of AI tooling.
What success looks like (first 6–12 months)
Sales runs every deal from a current, self-serve enablement library — decks, one-pagers, battlecards — instead of each rep building their own materials from scratch.
Battlecards live for our top 5 competitors, refreshed quarterly and informed by a working win/loss loop.
3–5 published case studies with named customers and quantified outcomes.
The product story is codified: markitecture, per-product messaging, and a use-case library mapped to persona and regulation.
Every meaningful product release ships through a tiered launch process that includes sales enablement.
Demo videos and click-throughs exist and show up in real deals.
We can measure it: enablement asset usage, sales confidence, competitive win rate, and case-study pipeline influence.
What we're looking for
Must-haves
5–8+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing with an enterprise, sales-led motion — you've been the PMM partner to an AE team, not just a content producer.
Proven ownership of sales enablement: battlecards, pitch decks, objection handling, and win/loss programs you built and ran.
You can translate a deeply technical product (SDK/API-level) into buyer-level narrative, and you're comfortable working directly with engineers and legal/regulatory subject-matter experts.
You've shipped customer case studies end-to-end — including the unglamorous customer-wrangling parts.
A builder profile: you've stood up product marketing from zero or near-zero at a Series A–C company, and you produce finished assets yourself.
Excellent writer and presenter; comfortable working async in a remote, globally distributed company.
Fluent and enthusiastic with AI tools as a daily force multiplier for research, drafting, asset production, and demo creation — with good judgment about when to lean on them and when not to.
What our ideal candidate will also have
Domain experience in gaming, trust & safety, privacy/compliance, regtech, or identity.
Experience marketing in a regulated industry — turning legal complexity into a sales narrative.
Video and demo production chops, or fluency directing that work.
Pricing and packaging exposure.
Analyst relations experience.
APAC or global market exposure (our team spans Singapore and the US).
Logistics
Engagement: Full-time.
Location: Fully remote (some overlap with Singapore and US time zones).
How to apply
Send us a short note explaining why you're a good fit for the role, along with your CV. You can also attach 2–3 examples of product marketing assets you've created, such as battlecards, launch materials, case studies, messaging documents, or demo content, in the same submission. Redacted or anonymized examples are absolutely fine; we're more interested in seeing finished work than a polished portfolio PDF.

About k-ID
k-ID is building the age aware internet, where kids and teens can access technology in ways that are safer, more private, and appropriate for their age, while platforms and games can meet complex age related requirements across global markets.
Our platform helps developers understand user age, configure age appropriate experiences, manage parental consent, and stay aligned with fast changing global laws and regulations. We are building compliance infrastructure for the internet: developer first, privacy preserving, and designed to make complex regulatory obligations easier to operationalize at scale.
Role Overview
The Market Insights Operations Contractor is responsible for running k-ID’s compliance-benchmarking engine. This function analyzes how real-world games and apps handle children’s data privacy and online safety, powering our compliance benchmarks and market intelligence for customers. This is a hands-on role focused on accurate, explainable, and timely results throughout each testing cycle.
You will operate neimo’s game-testing and Market Insights pipeline — utilizing both AI agentic and manual testing — to ensure that results are reliable, explainable, and always delivered on schedule. Success in this role means making operations smoother, catching data issues early, and ensuring status visibility and resolution of blockers without escalation or chase.
Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and execute testing cycles: Define games, jurisdictions, questions, and schedules; ensure rationale is documented and visible.
Operate and refine third-party AI agentic testing platforms: Configure runs, refine agent instructions, review and classify outputs, and follow through with vendors.
Conduct detailed Data QA: Review AI outputs, check and reconcile data, diagnose trends, cross-reference with client implementations, and resolve anomalies before escalation.
Perform manual testing for scenarios not yet covered by agentic automation: Scope, run, and document manual tests according to repeatable SOPs.
Maintain clear, explainable methodology, SOPs, and result documentation for stakeholders.
Provide daily status and progress visibility during active cycles; ensure no backlog of QA or unresolved issues.
Drive blockers to resolution, clearly logging reasons and responsible owners.
What Success Looks Like
Testing plans are finalized before each cycle, with clear scope, rationale, and schedules.
Real-time cycle status is maintained and visible daily during testing.
No QA backlog: Completed runs are reviewed within two business days.
Data issues are detected and resolved upstream, with explanations for all trends and anomalies.
Every blocked or inconclusive outcome is clearly documented and tracked to resolution.
Able to articulate what changed, why, and confidence level in results to stakeholders without engineering escalation.
Interested candidates who thrive in structured, detail-heavy, and execution-focused roles are encouraged to apply and help us deliver trustworthy compliance intelligence at scale.

Principal Product Manager - Compliance Development Kit (CDK)
Company Overview:
k-ID is building the age aware internet, where kids and teens can access technology in ways that are safer, more private, and appropriate for their age, while platforms and games can meet complex age related requirements across global markets.
Job Summary:
CDK is k-ID's compliance engine. It turns regulation into developer primitives – age assurance, parental consent, permissions, jurisdictional rule resolution, entitlements – that any platform can configure in Compliance Studio, power with our regulatory intelligence engine (neimo), and enforce at runtime through clean APIs and drop-in widgets.
Today CDK is pointed at the fastest-moving regulatory category on earth: child safety and online safety law. But the engine is regulation-agnostic by design. The same machinery that resolves what a 13-year-old can do in Brazil resolves an age-restricted purchase, an AI-companion safeguard, or a rule that doesn't exist yet. That's the premise – and it's why platforms across gaming, social, AI, and commerce build on CDK, and why compliance is becoming infrastructure the way payments became an API.
We're hiring a Product Lead – a principal-level role – to own CDK end-to-end and run it like its own business. There is no playbook for this product; you will write it. You treat CDK as a platform, not a feature: you see the pattern across enterprise requests and build the abstraction, not the one-off, and you make global regulatory complexity disappear for the developer integrating you in an afternoon.
This is not a backlog-grooming role. You'll be simultaneously in the weeds on product behavior intricacies and driving overall business strategy and direction.
Key Responsibilities:
You run CDK like its own business. You're measured on outcomes, not output – adoption, conversion, expansion, and reliability, not specs written or features shipped – and you're the single point of accountability for those numbers across Legal, Engineering, Design, GTM, and Customer Success.
Grow CDK as a product line. Own its arc from configuration tool to the compliance platform others build on, and the adoption, revenue, and expansion that prove it. What you build, defer, and kill is judged against that outcome, not a feature backlog.
Land new verticals. Turn the regulation-agnostic engine into shipped revenue in new categories – AI, regulated commerce, whatever's next – by building primitives that generalize instead of one-offs per customer.
Define the primitive. Identify the core abstractions that make CDK genuinely differentiated (permission strings, jurisdictional rule engines, consent orchestration) and partner with engineering to build them.
Run the pod, not just the roadmap. You own the "what" and the "why," then you own the build – the cadence, the unblocking, the in-the-weeds calls with engineering, not a deck you hand off. Pure strategists who delegate execution won't last here; neither will pure executors who don't want to own the bet.
-
Keep it unbreakable at scale. CDK enforces compliance for tens of millions of users; staying correct as the law shifts underneath is an outcome you own with engineering, not a problem you hand to them.
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of product management experience, with a track record of owning technically complex platforms, infrastructure, or developer tools.
Exceptional product and operational judgment in high-ambiguity environments.
The ability to read API documentation, engage on system architecture tradeoffs, and think in systems.
A productization instinct: you understand the difference between "one customer wants this" and "the market needs this."
Extreme speed and clarity in communication, proactively sharing status, blockers, and tradeoffs with leadership.
World-class product taste and strong opinions on what great developer and end-user platforms look like.
You hold alignment across Legal, Engineering, GTM, and customers without waiting for consensus – and you say no well.
Preferred Qualifications:
You've shipped product against actual regulation, such as children's privacy or online safety (COPPA, GDPR-K, the UK Online Safety Act, the DSA, Australia's Online Safety Act), or an adjacent regime like KYC, payments, or restricted goods – and can say exactly what your product had to change because of it.
You've owned a rules or policy engine where the same input resolves differently by jurisdiction, age, or risk level and you know how hard it is to keep that correct as the law keeps moving.
You've built verifiable parental consent, age assurance / estimation, or age-gating flows and you've moved completion rates through a multi-step funnel, not just shipped the flow.
You've owned a developer product (APIs, SDKs, or drop-in widgets) and measured yourself on integration time and time-to-first-value, not feature count.
You've worked with config-as-code, entitlement systems, or versioned configuration (branches, diffs, test → live promotion), and you know the difference between hardcoding rules and building systems that adapt.
Why Join k-ID?
You'll own a category that didn't exist three years ago and will be legally mandated in 50+ countries within five – at the intersection of global regulation, platform economics, developer experience, and child safety, with a team deep in law, policy, engineering, and product.
CDK is already in production with some of the largest gaming and social platforms on earth. The regulatory tailwinds are accelerating, not slowing. Every new law passed is new product surface area for you to own.
You'll report directly to the Head of Product, work alongside a team that includes, trust & safety leaders, legal experts, designers and engineers who've built compliance infrastructure at scale.
What We Offer:
Competitive salary and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) – real participation in the upside.
Comprehensive health coverage – medical, dental, and vision, plus wellbeing support.
Direct work with founders and product leadership, and exposure to the world's largest platforms as they ship on you.
A collaborative, low-politics, trust-based culture – building technology that makes the internet safer for kids without making it worse for everyone else.
