Partner Manager, Aerospace and Defense
Job Description
Tulip brings modern technology and AI into manufacturing. Manufacturing accounts for almost 20% of the global economy and one in every seven workers on Earth, yet remains among the least digitized. More than a decade ago, we created the category to close that gap: AI-native software that puts cutting-edge tools directly in the hands of the people on the manufacturing front lines. Because we are human-centered and tech-obsessed, we are building a future of work where human ingenuity is amplified with the latest technology.
In January 2026 we became one of Boston's few new AI unicorns, reaching a $1.3B valuation. We're growing double digits in revenue year over year. The world's best manufacturers run on Tulip – turning inventory 10x faster, releasing gene therapies in hours instead of weeks, and training master craftspeople to forge engagement rings 5x more rapidly. Headquartered in Somerville, MA with offices in Germany, Hungary, Singapore, Japan, and Israel, we've been consistently named a World Economic Forum Global Innovator, a Gartner leader, and one of Built In Boston's “Best Places to Work.”

You can present to C-suite executives at major defense contractors as effectively as you can collaborate with solutions architects on technical integrations. You have a passion for technology and speak fluently about current SaaS, IIoT, cloud, and AI trends, including actively using modern tools plus AI-assisted tools to work more effectively.

- Experience with MES, ERP, PLM, or IIoT ecosystems in aerospace and defense manufacturing environments
- Experience in SaaS and/or digital transformation initiatives within regulated industries
- Existing relationships with A&D-focused system integrators, consultancies, and technology partners strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders across complex organizational structures
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com and sales tools (Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
- U.S. Citizenship required due to nature of work with defense customers; ability to obtain security clearance a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field strongly preferred

- Support account executives and partners during co-selling motions with defense primes, commercial aerospace OEMs, and their supply chains, from prospecting to close, including accurate pipeline forecasting
- Enable partners to independently represent Tulip across the commercial cycle, ensuring they understand A&D-specific requirements (compliance, security, data sovereignty)
- Identify and recruit new partners to fill geographic, technical, or vertical gaps in the A&D ecosystem—including specialized defense consultancies and cleared technology providers
- Stay current on A&D industry trends, digital transformation initiatives (e.g., DoD modernization programs, Factory of the Future), and competitive landscape

Enterprise Architect
Job Description
ezCater is the #1 food tech platform for workplaces in the US. The company makes it easy for any organization to manage its food needs and order from over 125,000 restaurants nationwide. For workplaces, ezCater provides flexible and scalable solutions for everything from employee meal programs to one-off meetings, all backed by 24/7 service and business-grade reliability. For restaurant partners, ezCater helps grow their business by bringing them new high-value customers and large orders.
ezCater is re-platforming its marketplace on Nova, a composable platform built from domain capabilities, while the existing business continues to grow and deliver. The architectural decisions made over the next two years will shape the company for the next ten. This role exists to make sure those decisions get made well, on time, and stick.
The Enterprise Architect is our most senior individual contributor in technology, sitting above Principal on our ladder and reporting directly to the Chief Product and Technology Officer. It carries real decision authority, not advisory reach: you chair the Architecture Board, own the architecture decision process, and hold standing authority over our most consequential workstreams.
What you’ll do:
- You will chair the Architecture Board and own its decision register: every open architecture decision has an owner and a date, and a decision past its date is treated as a program risk.
- You will run the Architecture Decision Record (ADR) gate that workstreams pass through before build.
- You will hold standing architecture authority over our foundational platform programs spanning data, identity, events, and core services, and you will set the target-state architecture that connects the legacy platform, the new platform, and the migration path between them.
- You will pressure-test designs with senior engineers across the org, raise the quality of technical decision-making broadly, and represent architecture directly to executive leadership.
What you have:
- You have 15+ years in software engineering with experience as the accountable architect for a platform transformation or re-platforming at scale, ideally in marketplace, commerce, or transactional systems.
- You have made and defended consequential decisions on event-driven architecture, service decomposition, data and identity modeling, and build-versus-buy, and you can show which ones you got wrong and what you did about it.
- You write clearly: your Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), RFCs, and assessments are artifacts people align around.
- You are hands-on enough to read a design or a diff and earn the respect of Principal engineers, and senior enough to say no to a VP with a deadline.
- You operate through influence and decision rights rather than headcount, and you have done it before in an organization where architecture authority had to be established, not inherited.
*Please note: Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and region & may vary from the amount above. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as equity, 401K or medical, dental or vision insurance).
ezCater does not sponsor applicants for work visas or legal permanent residence.
What You’ll Get from Us:
You’ll get a terrifically compelling experience in an innovative, high performing environment. You’ll get to work with engaged and passionate colleagues on challenging and impactful projects. You will have opportunities to grow in your career, and work in a place that values work/life harmony.
Oh, and you’ll get all this: Market competitive salary, stock options that you’ll help make worth a lot, 12 paid holidays, flexible PTO, 401K with ezCater match, health/dental/FSA, long-term disability insurance, mental health and family planning resources, remote-hybrid work from our awesome Boston office OR your home OR a mixture of both home and office, a tremendous amount of responsibility and autonomy, wicked awesome co-workers, employee meal program (and many more goodies) when you’re in our office, and knowing that you helped transform the food for work space.
ezCater is an equal opportunity employer. We embrace humans of every background, appearance, race, religion, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, and disability status. At the same time, we do not employ jerks, even brilliant ones. Following a conditional offer of employment, ezCater may require a background check.
