About the team
The Billing organization at Stripe builds and operates Stripe Billing, a growing product vertical inside of Stripe. Hundreds of thousands of businesses of all sizes and types use Stripe Billing to collect revenue for recurring and one-time payments across a variety of different pricing models—from selling SaaS subscriptions, to orchestrating multi-stage contracts, delivering business analytics, and providing recovery and retention tools to prevent customer churn.
To support even the most unique and complex business models, our technology and products must be configurable and programmable. This requires our team to innovate in how we model different types of businesses, and how we use technology to enable customers to piece together Stripe’s Billing’s platform primitives into holistic solutions that support any type of business. Through this work, Stripe Billing allows worry-free innovation and evolution of any customer’s business model. What you’ll do
We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team within the Stripe Billing organization. In this role, you will manage a high-performing team of engineers and partner closely with product managers and other cross-functional leaders to shape the team’s strategy and roadmap. You will excel in this role if you’re a product-focused engineering manager who can collaborate effectively across multiple teams and functions to deliver results. If you enjoy building and nurturing high-performing engineering teams, helping guide the direction of product development, and engaging directly with users of the platform, this will be a great opportunity for your career.
You will:
- Partner closely with engineering leaders, product managers, and designers to shape the team’s strategy and roadmap
- Demonstrate strong first principles thinking when approaching complex problems and system design
- Foster a healthy team culture with a high level of trust and psychological safety
- Define processes that enable the team do its best work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Coach and mentor engineers on the team to help them advance in their careers and develop new skills
- Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Stripe’s engineering management team
- Work closely with Stripe’s recruiting team to hire strong engineering talent

Minimum requirements
- 4+ years of engineering management experience
- 8+ years of full time software development experience
- You have a consistent track record of hiring and leading productive engineering teams
- You’ve nurtured healthy work environments that are supportive, challenging, diverse and inclusive
- You’re motivated to work in highly cross-functional organizations, with a strong ability to lead and measure product outcomes
- You’ve leveraged your strong technical background and hands-on experience in solving large scale and difficult technical problems

What you’ll do
As the Manager of Fraud Operations, you will lead a team of high-performing fraud analysts and set an inspirational vision for the broader Fraud Operations organization. You will be responsible for driving the execution of short- and long-term initiatives to future-proof the organization, ensuring it is well equipped to scale and adapt to Stripe’s highly complex and evolving fraud landscape.
Responsibilities
- Inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing fraud investigations team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Establish clear goals, provide coaching and feedback, and support the professional growth of team members.
- Set a strategic vision for the team and build the path to execute it in both the short and long term.
- Proactively evolve the organization’s strategy to scale operations and address day-to-day challenges.
- Collaborate with and influence risk leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to identify the highest-ROI investments for user experience, process improvement, and risk mitigation.
- Maintain oversight of operational vendor performance related to risk.
- Lead root-cause analysis to identify opportunities to predict, prevent, and mitigate risk within processes and performance.
- Define and manage core metrics, SLAs, and organizational performance.
- Identify gaps in current systems, processes, and strategies, and deliver enhancements and process improvements to mitigate existing and emerging risks.
- Ensure risk-management efforts do not compromise the user experience.

Minimum requirements
- 10+ years of experience in fraud, risk, or management roles, including at least 2 years of directly leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong strategic-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex challenges into actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
- Passion for delivering a user-centric experience while effectively managing risk.
Preferred qualifications
- Expertise in fraud and risk management, including data analysis, root-cause analysis, and process improvement, as well as experience analyzing data and creating dashboards and visualizations.
- Strong proficiency in sourcing and analyzing data using SQL.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams to develop and enhance investigative tools and treatments.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; an advanced degree or certification is a plus.

What you’ll do
We are looking for a rock star product marketer to translate Stripe’s most complex technology and strategy into compelling, executive-ready narratives and scalable sales motions. In this role, you will lead the content strategy and enablement engine that powers our highest-stakes executive moments—from global Executive Briefing Centers (EBCs) to bespoke leadership workshops. Sitting at the intersection of Product, Sales, and Executive Engagement, you will equip Stripe leaders, account teams, and event hosts to clearly articulate Stripe as the complete financial infrastructure for the internet.
Responsibilities
- Develop Thought Leadership Narratives: Craft tailored, point-of-view-driven narratives and presentations for executive-level meetings, advisory boards, and Tier-1 convenings.
- Drive Executive Briefing Center Enablement: Develop and scale sales enablement frameworks, messaging toolkits, and prep materials to empower account teams to lead impactful executive briefings.
- Build Scalable Workshop Motions: Architect and scale interactive whiteboarding and workshop frameworks that simplify complex product architectures and showcase Stripe as a complete financial infrastructure.
- Curate Executive Demo Library: Build, maintain, and package an executive-ready demo library—repurposing existing product assets into high-touch formats designed specifically for executive experiences.
- Lead Speaker Training & Certification: Create and scale a formal speaker training and certification program to prepare Stripe executives and technical subject matter experts for high-profile speaking roles and EBC engagements.
- Scale Content via AI: Design and deploy AI agents and workflows to automate content generation, personalize executive materials, and streamline enablement at scale.

Minimum requirements
- 10+ years of product marketing, solutions marketing, or executive enablement experience in B2B tech, SaaS, or fintech.
- Proven track record building executive-level narratives and high-touch customer workshop motions.
- Demonstrated experience designing and executing sales enablement programs, speaker training, or certification frameworks.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with extensive experience presenting to and prepping C-suite leaders.
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally across Product, Sales, and Field Marketing teams.
