Deliver high-quality, client-ready reports with clear risk ratings, business impact, and practical remediation guidance.
Collaborate with sales, customer success, and engineering teams to translate findings into product improvements.
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to methodology, tooling, and process enhancements.

Required Experience & Qualifications
5–10 years of current, hands-on experience in offensive security, red teaming, or penetration testing.
Strong background in web application penetration testing and internal network assessments.
Experience with compliance-focused engagements (PCI DSS, SOC 2, etc.).
U.S. Citizen (required).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and executive audiences.

What You’ll Do
We are seeking a Manager, IT Engineering to build and lead our Business Applications (BizApps) function within IT. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can set direction, build a new team, and stay close enough to the work to enable every part of the business through the applications, integrations, and AI tooling that power their day-to-day operations.
This role will lead the team responsible for administering IT-deployed, company-wide applications; building and maintaining integrations — primarily through our IPaaS platform, Workato, and, where needed, custom middleware built on AWS; and designing and deploying AI agents across our AI platform stack (Glean, Claude, Gemini, and/or AWS Bedrock) to automate and enable work across GTM, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and other teams. The ideal candidate brings strong technical breadth across applications, integration architecture, and AI enablement, along with the ability to partner effectively across every department in a fast-growing organization. By strengthening our BizApps function, this role will directly enable business scalability, operational efficiency, and cross-functional productivity.
This role will be responsible for…..
Lead, coach, and grow the Business Applications (BizApps) team, including ownership of IT-deployed application administration, integration development, and AI agent enablement
Set priorities and operating rhythms for the team, balancing day-to-day requests, escalations, integration/AI build projects, and long-term platform improvements
Serve as a hands-on leader for the BizApps function, stepping in on complex builds, architecture decisions, and high-priority cross-functional requests
Own administration, configuration, and lifecycle management of applications where IT is the accountable, company-wide deploying owner (e.g., Jira, collaboration tools, and similar platforms as designated) — distinct from applications owned by other departments (e.g., HRIS owned by People Ops)
Build and maintain governance around permissions, roles, licensing, and access models across BizApps-owned platforms, partnering with IT Engineering on any identity and access management (IAM) needs tied to SSO/IdP
Design and implement workflows, automations, custom fields, and reporting structures within IT-owned applications (e.g., Jira) that let departments such as GTM, Finance, Legal, and Engineering self-serve where appropriate, and get expert support where they can't
Serve as the primary owner and architect of our Workato IPaaS instance, building, testing, and maintaining recipes/connections that integrate systems across the business
Evaluate each integration request against a clear decision framework: native integration first, Workato second, and custom AWS-based middleware only when neither can meet the requirement due to complexity, scale, or data sensitivity
Architect, oversee, and/or build custom integrations using AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions, etc.) for integrations that fall outside Workato's capabilities
Manage relationships with third-party development contractors/vendors for custom build-outs, including scoping, technical requirements, QA, and handoff to internal support
Design, build, and deploy AI agents, Projects, Skills, and/or Gems across our AI platform stack (Glean, Claude, Gemini, AWS Bedrock) to solve specific business problems for GTM, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and other functions
Own the intake and evaluation process for AI agent requests, assessing feasibility, data sources, security/compliance implications, and the right platform for a given use case
Establish guardrails, access controls, and data handling standards for agent deployments in partnership with IT Engineering and Security/Compliance, including least-privilege access and monitoring for misuse or drift
Maintain an accurate inventory and lifecycle plan for owned applications, integrations, and deployed agents (ownership, purpose, data access, review cadence) to support audits and prevent unmanaged risk
Partner closely with IT Engineering, Security, and Legal/Compliance to ensure application, integration, and AI enablement practices align with security requirements, access control policies, and regulatory obligations
Create metrics, dashboards, and operational reporting that communicate BizApps performance, delivery velocity, and platform health to leadership
Drive continuous improvement across the BizApps function, including tooling, workflows, documentation, and self-service capabilities
Demonstrate a commitment to integrity, process improvement, and customer satisfaction
As a Manager, you will be responsible for:
Recruiting and onboarding talented individuals to support our organizational goals
Mentoring, coaching, equipping, and developing your team
Recognizing and retaining high performers
Leading horizontally with peer management and senior leaders
What You’ll Bring
Must have strong experience in IT, business systems administration, or systems engineering, including experience leading a team
Must have deep hands-on experience administering enterprise SaaS platforms at scale, like Jira/Atlassia, suite required; experience with collaboration tools (Google Workspace/M365) or similar company-wide IT-owned platforms strongly preferred
Must have hands-on experience building and managing integrations on an IPaaS platform — Workato experience strongly preferred
Must have demonstrated experience building custom integrations/middleware using AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, EventBridge, or similar) for cases beyond IPaaS capability
Must have hands-on experience building or deploying AI agents, Projects, Skills, or Gems on at least one enterprise AI platform (Glean, Claude, Gemini, or AWS Bedrock), including connecting them to internal data sources and applications
Must have working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, data models, and integration patterns (REST, event-driven architecture)
Must have experience managing external contractors/vendors for custom development work, including scoping, oversight, and quality control
Must have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate business requirements from non-technical teams (Legal, Finance, GTM) into technical solutions
-
Must have an understanding of access control, data security, and compliance considerations (SOC 2, ISO 27001, export control, or similar frameworks) as they relate to business applications and AI systems, along with a collaborative approach to working with IT Engineering on IAM/SSO needs
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience in IT, business systems administration, or systems engineering
2+ years of experience in a leadership/management capacity (people and/or project management)
Experience supporting a distributed or remote-first workforce
-
Prior experience managing cross-functional requests, building integrations, and driving platform adoption in a hands-on capacity
Required Tech Stack Experience
Jira / Atlassian suite
Workato (or similar IPaaS platform)
AWS (Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions, or similar)
AI platforms: Glean, Claude, Gemini, and/or AWS Bedrock
Collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom)
APIs, webhooks, and REST/event-driven integration patterns
What Sets You Apart?
You've built or led a Business Applications, IT systems, or integration function in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and know how to scale enablement without losing quality or governance
You're comfortable being both a people manager and a hands-on architect for complex integration and AI agent builds
You've partnered with contractors or vendors to deliver custom middleware and know how to scope, oversee, and QA that work
You're a trusted partner across GTM, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and People, balancing self-service enablement with operational and security rigor
You know how to evaluate a request against native, IPaaS, and custom-build options and choose the right level of investment
Experience deploying AI agents, Projects, Skills, or Gems for real business use cases, not just experimentation
Relevant certifications such as Atlassian, AWS, Workato, or similar
Experience in high-growth SaaS or cybersecurity companies
