Overview
Application
Profound is the marketing platform for the age of AI search. The way brands reach people is being rewritten — AI models like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Mode are now the answer layer between companies and their customers. We built the platform marketers use to understand, measure, and win in that world: the analytics, intelligence, and agent automation that turn AI search from a threat into a competitive advantage.
We went from 0 to a $1B valuation in 18 months. Revenue grew 100x last year. Our customers include 15% of the Fortune 500 like Walmart, Wayfair and U.S. Bank, and innovators like Ramp, MongoDB, and Figma. We are backed by Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, LSVP, and Khosla Ventures — and we are moving fast enough that the people joining now are building the playbook everyone who comes after them will run.
This is a full-stack product marketing role, which means you will own the whole arc with the rest of the team: positioning and messaging, launches, competitive intelligence, content, and enablement. What sets this role apart is where its center of gravity sits. Your primary internal partner is Customer Success. You will make sure the people who onboard, retain, and expand our customers always understand the newest version of Profound and can turn that understanding into adoption, renewal, and growth. You will still support Sales, but your first question every day is: how do we help our customers get more value, faster?
What You'll Own
Product knowledge and customer-facing narrative
Be the internal expert on Profound's product: features, roadmap, use cases, and technical underpinnings.
Translate what we build into clear positioning and messaging that shows up across the customer lifecycle, from onboarding to renewal to expansion.
Own the story of "what's new and why it matters" for existing customers, not just prospects.
Customer Success enablement and content
Build the materials that CSMs rely on: onboarding, product deep-dives, feature launch training, and recurring office hours. You will partner with GTM Enablement to deliver these materials and have support from that team.
Create the content that drives adoption and retention: feature explainers, customer-facing playbooks, use-case guides, QBR narratives, expansion talk tracks, and product FAQs.
Give CSMs sharp, accurate language for renewal conversations, upsell moments, and objection handling with customers who are already on the platform.
Launches and lifecycle marketing
With the rest of PMM, you will co-own go-to-market for new features and products with a heavy emphasis on landing them inside the existing base, not only in new-logo acquisition.
You will own our webinar content calendar to drive both new logo pipeline generation and customer education/adoption
Partner with the rest of marketing, including community marketing, to drive awareness, activation, and adoption of what we ship.
You will own the changelog, making sure everything we’re shipping makes it way to our users both via product notifications and weekly emails
You will own our case studies and go-to customer stories, bringing the best of what our CS teams are doing with our customers back into top-of-funnel marketing collateral to drive additional pipeline via social proof points.
Measure whether launches actually move adoption and retention, then close the loop.
Cross-functional partnership and the field feedback loop
Embed with Product and Engineering to stay ahead of what's coming.
Own the feedback loop between the field and Product: surface what customers are asking for, what's confusing, and what's resonating.
Coordinate with Sales, GTM Ops, GTM Engineering, and Marketing Engineering where product knowledge and the customer journey intersect.
What We're Looking For
Background
3 to 6 years in product marketing, customer marketing, product enablement, or a closely related field at a B2B SaaS company.
Experience serving or working alongside Customer Success, account management, or a post-sale motion (adoption, retention, expansion).
You've created enablement, launch, or customer-facing content yourself.
You've worked in a fast-moving product environment and know how to keep pace with a roadmap that doesn't slow down.
Technical depth
Comfortable getting into the details of a technical product. You don't need to be an engineer, but you can sit with one and come away with a clear grasp of what's being built.
Able to understand and explain concepts like APIs, data pipelines, AI model behavior, and platform architecture at a level that's useful in a customer conversation.
Experience with AI, LLMs, and the evolving landscape of AI search and agentic systems is a real plus.
Content and communication
Strong writer and communicator. Your decks and guides should be things people actually want to read.
You can take something complicated and make it simple without losing accuracy.
Comfortable presenting and facilitating in front of CSMs, AEs, leadership, and executives.
Interpersonal
People genuinely like learning from you. You make enablement something the team looks forward to, not something they endure.
Strong relationship-builder across CS, Product, Sales, and Marketing. You earn trust by being useful and accurate, not just enthusiastic.
Low ego, high output. You're comfortable doing the work at whatever level it needs to happen.
Nice to Have
Experience at a marketing technology, analytics, or AI company.
Familiarity with AI search, LLM-based discovery, or answer engine optimization.
Experience owning customer marketing, adoption, or expansion programs.
Experience in a category-creation or early-market environment where the product story is still being defined.
Location
This is an on-site role based in our Union Square, NYC offices, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.
For this role, the expected base salary range is $145,000 to $200,000. Profound’s total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process. Our recruiting team will share more details about the full compensation package and benefits as you move through hiring.

We are backed by Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, LSVP, and Khosla Ventures — and we are moving fast enough that the people joining now are building the playbook everyone who comes after them will run.
The Role
Campaigns move fast here, and the tech stack gets more complex every quarter. Your job is to make sure nothing breaks in the handoff between strategy and execution.
You'll own the systems and processes that let the rest of the team move quickly without creating a mess: campaign QA that catches problems before launch, lead routing that doesn't slip through CRM gaps, and reporting that's built once instead of rebuilt for every campaign.
What You'll Do
Campaign Operations
- Own end-to-end campaign ops: build, QA, and launch process for all email, web, events, webinar and paid campaigns
- Maintain campaign taxonomy and UTM standards so every campaign is trackable, consistent, and mapped for standardized reporting
- Manage the campaign calendar and be the accountable point of contact when launches slip or break
- Monitor campaign performance post-launch and flag data quality issues (failed syncs, missing tracking etc.) before it makes its way to the reporting
- Diagnose recurring campaign issues and fix the process, not just the instance
- Build and own the audience segmentation in our databases so we can accurately target the right audiences
- Help build out our AB testing framework so we’re always learning what works with our different audiences
Marketing Systems
- Own the health of the marketing tech stack day-to-day: lead routing logic, list hygiene, integrations, dedupe rules
- Support the lead flow process to ensure leads are picked up quickly by sales
- Partner with RevOps on tracking intent signals aligned to revenue lifecycle stages and scoring
- Lead integration testing and rollout when new tools are added to the stack and helping depreciate old tools
- Build and maintain SOPs for all recurring ops workflows
Reporting & Analytics Support
- Own recurring reporting cadence (campaign performance, list growth, funnel snapshots)
- Run UTM/tracking audits and catch data integrity issues before they reach the Ops & Analytics Lead
- Surface patterns in campaign/funnel data and bring recommendations, not just numbers, to planning conversations
- Support attribution and modeling
Who You Are
- 2–5 years in marketing operations or campaign ops at a B2B SaaS company, with at least a year managing systems or people
- Strong hands-on fluency with a marketing automation platform (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar) and CRM (Salesforce or similar)
- SQL or BI tool comfort (Hex, Looker, Tableau) — enough to self-serve, not build models from scratch
- You've owned a process end-to-end and made it better, not just run what was handed to you
- Comfortable pushing back on RevOps when something's off, not just executing tickets
Compensation & Benefits
Expected base salary range: $110,000–$170,000. Full comp includes base, equity, and benefits. Final offer and title depends on experience and location.

We're looking for a creative and strategic creator marketer to build Profound's creator program from scratch. You'll partner with the marketers, SEOs, and brand builders who have real audiences in our space and turn them into authentic voices for the answer-engine era. This isn't a campaign coordinator role. It's a builder role.
THE ROLE
We're hiring a Creator Marketing Manager to build the program that turns the right creators into the loudest voices in our category. You'll identify the marketers, SEOs, content strategists, and brand builders who have authentic audiences we want to reach, and build genuine, high-impact partnerships with them.
One of your biggest advantages: Profound produces original research and proprietary data on how AI models represent brands. You'll use that data as creative fuel, giving creators unique angles and insights they can't get anywhere else. The best partnerships won't feel like ads. They'll feel like the most useful content those creators have ever made.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and own Profound's creator program. Design the strategy, define the tiers, and build the engine from the ground up.
- Identify and cultivate the right creators. Find the marketers, SEOs, and brand builders with authentic, engaged audiences in our space. Fit, expertise, and authenticity matter more than follower count.
- Manage 1:1 creator partnerships end-to-end. Own always-on relationships and campaign-specific activations. How our content comes to life in the creator ecosystem is a direct result of your work.
- Turn Profound's research into creator gold. Partner with research and content teams to surface data and insights that give creators genuinely unique things to say.
- Build a creator community, not just a roster. Bring partners into the Profound orbit through early product access, data briefings, and community moments so they're invested in the category.
- Collaborate cross-functionally. Work with Social Distribution, Content, PMM, and Comms to amplify creator work and ensure it ladders up to bigger campaign beats.
- Own measurement. Build the framework for how creator marketing connects to awareness, engagement, and pipeline. Report on what's working and reallocate accordingly.
- Stay ahead of the ecosystem. Know which creators are rising, which platforms are shifting, and how algorithm changes should inform strategy.
WHO YOU ARE
- 3 to 5+ years in creator or influencer marketing, ideally in B2B, SaaS, or marketing technology where you're reaching a professional audience.
- You have relationships. You come with a network of B2B creators you've worked with or can credibly reach. You know the names, the niches, and who actually moves their audience.
- You know how to use data as a creative brief. You don't just hand creators a product demo. You give them a story, a stat, a provocative angle.
- You think in programs, not posts. You build repeatable systems: clear briefs, structured tiers, playbooks that scale.
- You understand the difference between reach and resonance. You care whether the right people engaged, not just how many did.
- You're a strong collaborator. You pull context from research, PMM, and product and turn it into great creator briefs without needing formal authority.
- Bonus: experience in marketing technology, AI, and Martech. Familiarity with the AEO and SEO creator ecosystem across LinkedIn, YouTube, and newsletters.
You likely:
- Have run an always-on creator program, not just one-off campaigns.
- Can show programs you built and the results they drove.
- Have briefed creators on complex or technical topics and gotten great content out of it.
- Have worked somewhere you had to explain a new category, not just a new product.
- Want to build something, not just join something.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
For this role, the expected base salary range is $120,000 to $180,000, plus equity and a full suite of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on your experience and fit.
This is an on-site role in our Union Square office.
