Company Description
Farther is a rapidly growing RIA that combines expert advisors with cutting-edge technology - delivering a comprehensive, tailored wealth management experience.
Farther’s founders are leaders and innovators from the private wealth industry who possess a unique blend of traditional wealth management, fintech, and technology production expertise. We’re backed by top-tier venture capital firms, fintech investors, and industry leaders.
Joining Farther means joining a collaborative team of entrepreneurs who are passionate about helping their clients and our teammates achieve more. If you’re the type who breaks through walls to get things done the right way, we want to build the future of wealth management with you.
The Role
As the Senior Manager, Data Engineering at Farther, you will own the data platform powering a modern, technology-driven wealth management firm — the security master, custodial pipelines, and canonical financial models every downstream system depends on.
The platform is already in production. Your mandate is to take it much further: define the roadmap, own it end-to-end, and execute — growing the team and expanding what the platform makes possible across the firm, including the AI systems built on top of it.
Your Impact
Own and execute the data platform roadmap — from custodial ingestion through the security master to AI-ready data products
Lead and grow the data engineering team, setting the bar for technical quality
Own the firm's security master: reference data, corporate actions, and golden-source resolution across vendors
Design canonical models unifying accounts, positions, and transactions across Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, and other custodians
Drive data quality, reconciliation, lineage, and governance across regulated datasets
The Ideal Match
8+ years in data platform roles, with 4+ years managing data teams
Deep security master experience — instrument reference data, corporate actions, multi-vendor golden-source resolution
Prior experience on the data team at a broker/dealer
Exceptional data modeling skills — schemas that are correct, extensible, and built to last
Strong hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL, AWS, and Python
A builder's mindset — energized by scaling a strong foundation into something category-defining
Technical Stack
PostgreSQL, Python, SQL
AWS (S3, Lambda, ECS Fargate, Glue, Athena, Step Functions)
Parquet-based data lake, infrastructure-as-code (CDK), CI/CD-driven delivery
AI/agent integrations built on the platform (Anthropic, AWS Bedrock)
Bonus Points
Experience running a global or distributed data team
Bitemporal or point-in-time financial data modeling
Data governance, lineage, and fine-grained access control
Experience supporting AI/ML systems with production data products

Farther’s founders are leaders and innovators from the private wealth industry who possess a unique blend of traditional wealth management, fintech, and technology production expertise. We’re backed by top-tier venture capital firms, fintech investors, and industry leaders.
Joining Farther means joining a collaborative team of entrepreneurs who are passionate about helping their clients and our teammates achieve more. If you’re the type who breaks through walls to get things done the right way, we want to build the future of wealth management with you.
The Role
Farther's advisors are growing fast, and marketing is one of the biggest levers we have to help them grow faster. As an Advisor Marketing Manager, you'll take ownership of the strategy behind how our advisors build their brands and their books — moving beyond executing requests to setting the direction for how we market at scale.
This is a senior individual-contributor role today with a clear path to building and leading a team as we grow. You'll partner directly with advisors and leadership, shape our playbooks, and raise the bar for what "good" marketing looks like across the firm.
Your Impact
Own the advisor marketing strategy, partnering directly with advisors to sharpen their personal brand and business development efforts
Build repeatable marketing programs and playbooks (social calendars, campaign templates, event frameworks) that scale across a growing advisor base
Set the editorial and content strategy across digital channels, ensuring every piece of copy sounds like Farther and lands with our audience
Lead planning and execution of flagship events, from strategy through logistics through follow-up
Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data to double down on what works
Manage relationships with agency and freelance partners, plus our marketing tech stack (HubSpot, Webflow, and beyond)
Mentor and guide junior marketing team members today, with the opportunity to formally build and lead a team as the function scales
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Compliance, and Design to bring integrated campaigns to life
The Ideal Match
5-7+ years of marketing experience, ideally including time in financial services, wealth management, or a marketing agency
A track record of building marketing programs from scratch, not just executing against an existing playbook
Experience mentoring or informally leading others, with genuine interest in growing into a people manager
Sharp copywriter who can turn complex financial concepts into clear, compelling content
Comfortable measuring and reporting on marketing performance and using it to inform strategy
Strong project management skills; you can juggle multiple advisor stakeholders and priorities without dropping the ball
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for design and a meticulous attention to detail
Proficiency with Slack, Google Workspace, Word, Excel, CRMs, and PowerPoint required; HubSpot and Webflow experience strongly preferred
Bonus Points
Direct experience marketing to financial advisors or within the RIA / wealth management space
Familiarity with compliance considerations that come with marketing in a regulated industry
Prior formal people management experience

Joining Farther means joining a collaborative team of entrepreneurs who are passionate about helping their clients and our teammates achieve more. If you’re the type who breaks through walls to get things done the right way, we want to build the future of wealth management with you.
The Role
Farther is launching a new content program that turns advisor expertise into professional video and multimedia content — client stories, thought leadership, and brand-building material our advisors can't easily create on their own. As our Multimedia Producer, you'll own production end-to-end for the pilot cohort: scheduling the first shoot, coordinating the raw footage, and getting each piece polished and published. You'll be building the playbook for a program that doesn't exist yet, not just following one.
Your Impact
Own end-to-end production for advisor video and multimedia content, from shoot scheduling through final publish
Coordinate remote and in-person recording sessions using tools like Riverside
Quality-check AI-assisted edits and bring each piece to a polished, publish-ready state
Build and maintain a production tracker covering every piece of content, its status, owner, and turnaround
Partner directly with advisors and marketing associates to plan shoots, gather footage, and set clear timelines
Route content through Farther's compliance review process and manage edit cycles
Produce original video assets beyond advisor shoots, including short-form social content and program explainers
Build repeatable templates and playbooks so the program can scale without starting from scratch each time
Travel to Dallas and New York for shoots and events as needed
Report on production throughput, bottlenecks, and quality
The Ideal Match
3+ years producing or project-managing video, podcast, or multimedia content at scale
Proven ability to manage multiple productions at once across different owners and timelines
Strong, concise communicator, comfortable working directly with busy professionals
Comfortable building process in an early-stage environment where the playbook doesn't exist yet
Based in Dallas or New York and willing to work across all our locations and events
Bonus Points
Experience with Riverside, Descript, or similar remote recording platforms
Familiarity with AI-assisted editing and content tools
Understanding of compliance considerations for financial content (e.g. testimonial and review requirements)
Experience writing content briefs, production playbooks, or SOPs
Background in SEO or AEO (answer engine optimization) content formats

Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.

Joining Farther means joining a collaborative team of entrepreneurs who are passionate about helping their clients and our teammates achieve more. If you’re the type who breaks through walls to get things done the right way, we want to build the future of wealth management with you.
The Role
You'll be the person clients trust to know their lives: the family updates, the upcoming milestones, the questions they haven't asked yet. As the Relationship Manager for a well-established Austin-based advisory practice, you're the connective tissue between the advisor, the client, and the service team, keeping everything running smoothly so your advisor can focus on growing the business and delivering great advice.
The practice spans clients across asset allocation, tax strategy, retirement planning, equity compensation, and real estate, a sophisticated book that demands a high-touch, detail-oriented relationship presence. No business development. No cold calls. Just building real relationships and making sure clients always feel taken care of.
Your Impact
Own the day-to-day client relationship: proactively managing touchpoints, tracking key life events, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks
Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the service team, escalating issues with urgency and following through until resolved
Maintain a meticulous CRM: keeping client records, notes, and activity logs current and accurate
Coordinate client onboarding, account transitions, and service requests in partnership with operations
Prepare the advisor for client meetings: gather materials, take notes, and own post-meeting follow-up
Anticipate client needs and flag opportunities to deepen relationships or expand share of wallet
The Ideal Match
2–5 years in a client-facing support or relationship role at a wealth management or financial services firm (wirehouse, RIA, or large independent experience strongly preferred)
Proven track record managing high-touch relationships with high-net-worth individuals or families
Exceptional follow-through, clients never have to chase you twice
Warm, professional communicator who builds trust naturally
Highly organized with sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities without dropping the ball
Series 65 or equivalent a plus; CFP coursework welcomed
Bonus Points
Background at a wirehouse or large private wealth firm (JP Morgan, UBS, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, etc.)
CRM proficiency (Salesforce, Redtail, or similar)
Genuine love of the details, you're the person who remembers the kids' names and the dog's birthday
Familiarity with modern wealth tech platforms

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029
Why are you being asked to complete this form?
We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.
Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail — you catch what others miss
