Global Enterprise Asset & Maintenance Manager
About Fluidstack
We exist to make humanity more free. For most of human history, you farmed or you starved. Technology gave people more time for the things they wanted to do, instead of things they had to do. Powerful AI will be the biggest lever for human choice we've ever built - but only if models are aligned with what humanity actually wants. There are groups building AI who don't share these goals. Whoever deploys frontier compute infrastructure fastest will decide whether AI expands human freedom or shrinks it.
We're singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them - with teams spanning hardware and software. Speed and scale are our key differentiators. Come be a part of building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI.
We hire people who care deeply about this problem space. If that is you, please apply!
How We Operate
Extreme ownership. Full autonomy. Own things end to end often taking on scope outside your core role without being asked to get things done.
Velocity. We drive everything forward as fast as possible.
First principles. Challenge every assumption. Zero analogy thinking, no egos, the best idea wins.
Love of the game. The frontier of AI is the most interesting problem of our time. We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward.
The Data Center Operations Team
Examples of key problems the team is working on
Operate at the scale of a nation, not a building. Accelerating toward 10s to 100s of GWs by the end of the decade, more than the entire electricity consumption of many countries. You won't just run a data center; you'll run infrastructure the size of a G7.
Fly the plane while it's being built. Running flawless operations inside a live construction zone, adapting in real time and turning the pace of build-out into our advantage. You will redefine operational excellence.
Write the playbook, don't inherit it. Most operators step into someone else's system. Here you build one, leaving your fingerprints on how the whole company runs. As we scale 100x, you'll set the standards, shape the operating model, and grow the team by the thousands.
Role Scope
Build the fleet-wide maintenance management index from zero: the single source of truth for every maintainable asset, its PM program, frequency, and criticality across owned and colo sites.
Stand up the CMMS and work management backbone that turns that index into scheduled work, so PM completion, deferrals, and backlog are measurable at every site the same way.
Lead EAM adoption as a change program across a multi-site fleet: taxonomy, training, site champions, and adoption metrics, so the system becomes how work happens rather than a database nobody trusts.
Write the maintenance standards (PM strategy, deferral rules, critical spares, vendor scope) that new sites inherit on day one instead of inventing locally.
Quarterback maintenance data into the operating rhythm: feed reliability trends, recurrence patterns, and asset health into weekly and monthly reviews so we fix classes, not instances.
What We're Looking For
The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, .
You've led EAM or CMMS program adoption across a large fleet (hyperscaler, utility, or industrial portfolio) and moved sites from local spreadsheets to one system of record without stalling the work.
You've built or rebuilt a maintenance program for critical infrastructure, not just administered one someone else designed.
You've built the asset taxonomy and data standards that let a fleet compare maintenance performance site-to-site, and defended them against a hundred local exceptions.
You've written PM strategies grounded in equipment criticality and failure modes, and you can defend why a task exists or kill it when it doesn't.
You've held vendors and colo providers accountable to maintenance scope through evidence, completion data and audit findings, not escalation emails.
You turn maintenance data into decisions: backlog trends, deferral risk, and recurrence patterns that change what the org does next.
Bonus: Hyperscaler or cloud data center fleet maintenance. EAM platforms at scale (Maximo, SAP PM, eMaint, MaintainX or similar). Mission-critical MEP maintenance. CMRP or similar reliability credentials. Reliability-centered maintenance (RCM/FMEA).
We are committed to pay equity and transparency.

Sourcing Manager, Electrical
How We Operate

The Supply Chain Team
Examples of key problems the team is working on
Supply tens of gigawatts of compute, the largest build out of compute in history. Qualify and dual-source across every critical equipment category, with lead-time and capacity thresholds tied directly to the forward build pipeline.
Make supply chain the reason we build faster than anyone. Our modular build redefines speed in this industry, and it lives or dies on supply chain. Keep procurement permanently off the critical path so schedule compression stays our advantage, not our constraint.
Build the most accurate supply chain prediction modelling that exists. Use the frontier of AI to forecast lead times, demand, and disruption with a precision the industry has never had, and turn that foresight into a structural edge.
Role Scope
Own the electrical category: switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, and busway, the longest lead times in the build.
Negotiate capacity reservations with electrical OEMs years ahead, converting reservations to orders as the pipeline firms.
Dual-source major equipment classes across OEMs whose products are not interchangeable, managing the design implications with engineering.
Track factory slots and production milestones supplier by supplier, because a slipped transformer is a slipped data hall.
What We're Looking For
The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
You've sourced major electrical equipment (switchgear, transformers, UPS, generation) for large construction programs.
You've reserved factory capacity ahead of firm designs and managed the commercial risk that creates.
You know the current lead-time reality of the electrical market by product class, not by rumor.
You've expedited equipment through a factory by knowing whom to call and what to trade.
Bonus: MV/HV equipment. Utility-scale generation. OFCI programs. Factory witness testing.
We are committed to pay equity and transparency.

You've sourced networking hardware at scale from major OEMs.
You've handled end-of-life and generation transitions without stranding inventory or stalling builds.
You understand enough of the technology (optics, ASICs, port speeds) to negotiate credibly with product teams.
You keep firmware, licensing, and support terms from becoming the expensive surprise later.
Bonus: AI/HPC fabric hardware. White-box and ODM switching. Optics supply chains. Vendor financing structures.

The Infrastructure Team
Examples of key problems the team is working on
Build the networks the builders run on. Enterprise, campus, and wireless networks across gigawatt data center sites, offices, and labs: the connectivity every other team depends on to build and operate the fleet.
Deliver wireless in the hardest RF environment there is. Full coverage across white space packed with dense rows of liquid-cooled racks and steel, on campuses that are still active construction zones.
Connect sites from bare dirt to full production. Satellite backhaul on day one, enterprise-grade campus networks at turnover, one repeatable design stamped across every new site.
Role Scope
Own enterprise and wireless network design and deployment across data center campuses, offices, and labs as a single repeatable reference design, with configs generated and version-controlled rather than hand-drawn per site.
Deliver full wireless coverage in white space where the colocation landlord's obligation ends at the admin areas: dense double-wide liquid-cooled racks cause severe RF interference, and the design may need an AP on every row.
Run predictive and on-site RF surveys, then validate coverage after equipment install, because a hall full of racks changes the RF answer.
Build the security posture for active construction campuses: WPA3-class wireless, clean segmentation between production, controls, contractor, and guest traffic, and disciplined credential and SSID hygiene while hundreds of trade workers rotate through.
Stand up interim construction-phase connectivity, including Starlink-class satellite backhaul before terrestrial circuits land, and drive the cutover to permanent enterprise networks.
Coordinate with data center design, deployment, IT, and security teams so enterprise and wireless requirements land in the site design instead of being retrofitted after turnover.
What We're Looking For
The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, .
You've designed and deployed enterprise campus networks end to end, wired and wireless, from requirements gathering through turnover to operations.
You know 802.11 at the fundamentals: RF propagation, channel planning, and roaming behavior, and you've run predictive and on-site RF surveys with professional survey tooling.
You've built NAC, segmentation, and guest and contractor access that held up under real-world abuse.
You've delivered networks in industrial, construction, or otherwise RF-hostile environments and adapted your designs when the environment fought back.
You troubleshoot from packet capture and spectrum analysis, and you can point to the trace that settled the argument.
Version-controlled configs and documented designs are habits for you, so the next site inherits your work without a handover meeting.
Bonus: Satellite or fixed-wireless backhaul experience. Wi-Fi design certifications. Enterprise routing and switching automation. Experience running networks alongside OT and BMS environments.
We are committed to pay equity and transparency.

The Network Team
Examples of key problems the team is working on
Network the control plane that keeps gigawatts safe. BMS, EPMS, and SCADA traffic ride the networks you build, and at this scale a dropped control packet is a facility incident, not a retry.
One controls architecture, stamped across every site. A standardized, segmented controls network deployed at every new build, integrated with landlord and partner OT domains without inheriting their risk.
Make oversubscription safe at machine speed. Our sites run more IT nameplate than utility capacity, managed by a metering-to-load-shed control loop that must respond in seconds across the network you own.
Role Scope
Own the controls network layer for BMS, EPMS, and SCADA across all sites: a standardized architecture of firewalls and border leaf/spine, a dedicated BMS spine in the MDF, IDFs placed within copper reach of field devices, and MACSec-capable L3 switching for every IP endpoint.
Build the telemetry and command paths for our Ignition SCADA platform (redundant per-MDF server stacks, 1-second sampling), including the demand-management loop where electrical metering detects overload, SCADA decides, and load-shed and shutdown paths execute in seconds so sites safely run more IT nameplate than utility capacity.
Engineer failure modes deliberately so equipment islands gracefully on comms loss and every degraded state of the network is known and bounded before it happens.
Integrate with landlord-owned and partner-owned OT domains at colocation sites through firewalled boundaries, replicating historian data across a controlled edge without flattening security domains.
Enforce the OT security posture: Palo Alto-class firewalled OT edges, OT-aware monitoring, and strict segmentation between production, controls, and enterprise networks.
Embed the controls network in site design from day one, working with facility engineers, controls and commissioning engineers, MEP designers, and security so the network is commissioned with the building.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to our Data Centers and construction sites
What We're Looking For
The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, .
You've designed and operated OT/ICS networks (BMS, EPMS, SCADA) in production facilities where a control outage had physical consequences.
Familiarity with industrial din-rail mount switch types. They will pop up here and there (esp on OTS equipment), good to know how to wrangle them.
You work in BACnet/IP, Modbus TCP, and OPC UA daily and know their failure modes on a real network, along with the IT layers underneath: routing, multicast where needed, QoS, and PTP or NTP time distribution.
You've built segmented industrial architectures with firewalled IT/OT boundaries and held the line against pressure to flatten domains for convenience.
You've sat between controls engineers and network engineers and translated both directions, turning a control sequence into VLANs, routes, and firewall rules and explaining a network constraint back in controls terms.
You've commissioned networks alongside building commissioning, proving control paths end to end before the facility carried load.
You document architectures well enough that another engineer can build the next site from your drawings without calling you.
Bonus: IEC 62443 or similar OT security depth. Ignition or a comparable SCADA platform. Data center MEP systems familiarity. Electrical metering and power quality systems.
Bonus: IEC 61850 or similar Power System communication depth. Familiar with networking electrical protection equipment (via GOOSE, GSE, etc) and trade-offs between major power system vendor hardware.
We are committed to pay equity and transparency.

Role Scope
Own supplier quality for mechanical equipment: CDUs, chillers, pumps, and piping packages from qualification through delivery.
Run supplier audits and production readiness reviews before award, and source inspections before anything ships.
Set the inspection and test plans suppliers build to, including factory acceptance test witness points.
Drive root cause and corrective action on quality escapes, and verify the fix at the supplier floor, not on paper.
What We're Looking For
The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
You've done supplier quality for mechanical or HVAC equipment manufacturers, on their floors.
You've witnessed factory acceptance tests and failed one when it deserved to fail.
You write inspection plans from drawings and specs, not from templates.
Your corrective actions close with evidence, and repeat escapes from your suppliers are rare.
Bonus: Liquid cooling equipment. ASME and ISO quality systems. Welding and brazing inspection. PPAP or APQP experience.
We are committed to pay equity and transparency.

Principal Operations Engineer, Reliability
The fleet you run will draw more power than some countries, on the way to 10s to 100s of GWs.
Fly the plane while it's being built. Sites come online in pieces, and you keep the live ones running flawlessly while construction continues around them.
Write the playbook, don't inherit it. No prior operations org has run at this speed and scale, so the standards you set become the standard.
Role Scope
Own fleet reliability engineering: define availability targets, measure them honestly, and close the gap.
Run root cause analysis on the fleet's worst incidents and drive corrective actions to done across every site.
Build the failure data pipeline, facility and hardware both, that turns incident history into engineering priorities.
Set the maintenance strategy (reliability-centered, condition-based) so the fleet spends effort where the failure data says to.
What We're Looking For
The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
You've owned reliability for critical infrastructure and moved the availability number, not just reported it.
You've led root cause analyses that found the real cause, not the convenient one.
You work fluently with failure data: Weibull, Pareto, and FMEA are tools you actually use, not terms you know.
You get corrective actions closed across teams you don't manage.
Bonus: Data center or power generation reliability. Liquid cooling systems. CMMS analytics. CRE or CMRP certification.
We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
