We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Open to hiring remote across North America - NYC, San Francisco, or Denver preferred.
Runway is scaling its Enterprise revenue organization with leaders who know how to build and scale high-performance teams. And, who can operate a revenue machine while keeping customer value in mind - leading our industry-based revenue pods responsible for both net-new ACV, NRR, and Renewal.
This role is designed for the leader who wants to accelerate their CRO career trajectory. You will own Runway’s velocity engine - growth, emerging, inbound, and business development teams. You’ll hire and lead a team, develop the next generation of top talent, and scale millions of pipeline that impacts the whole company. As a revenue operator, you’ll be responsible for both net new ACV, expansion, NRR, and renewal of your revenue pods.
The ideal profile is a player-coach who has personally built high-velocity teams and scalable GTM motions for an AI or consumption-based organization. You think in coverage models, conversion rates, repeatable plays, and up-leveling talent. We’re not looking to replicate a traditional mid-market playbook; this team needs to be built around AI-powered workflows, product signals, and personalized outreach at-scale.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and run the Growth segment: 6-8+ pods at scale (one to two AEs and one Engagement Manager per pod), plus the BD org leader and team that feeds every segment. With scale, this team adds additional leadership and dedicated in-bound sales teams.
- Own new ACV and NRR for Growth, plus company-wide sourced-pipeline targets through your BD team - reviewed weekly with the CRO
- Design the demand funnel: inbound routing and qualification, outbound plays, deal-size floors that push reps upmarket, and a sub-$15k inside-sales lane so small deals get won without burning AE capacity
- Hire and develop a Growth Revenue Manager bench - your managers should be your next segment leaders. Coach-up and up-level all talent within the org to be top talent that promotes through to enterprise selling teams.
- Instrument everything: conversion by stage, ASP progression, speed to first meeting - and rebuild plays monthly off the data
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 10+ years in SaaS sales with 4+ years leading enterprise, mid-market or velocity sales teams, including owning a BD or SDR function
- You have personally built a greenfield high-velocity motion - coverage model, cadence design, comp mechanics - not just operated one
- A record of growing ASP: you have moved a segment from small transactional deals to $50k-$100k standard deals and can explain exactly how
- Experience with consumption-based or PLG revenue, where product usage is the pipeline signal that matters most
- Daily working fluency with AI tools for prospecting and research (Clay, Gong, Claude, or equivalents), and the conviction to make your team match it
- A quota history you are proud to walk through, as an IC and as a leader
STRONG CANDIDATES MAY ALSO HAVE
- Built or scaled an inside-sales closing lane for high-volume small deals
- Sold to creative, marketing, or media buyers
- Experience designing SDR-to-AE promotion paths that actually promote people
COMPENSATION
OTE $375K - 450K (60/40 base to variable). Offers equity.
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Product Designer to own the surfaces where Runway turns usage into revenue: pricing, upgrade paths, checkout, and the moments a creator decides Runway is worth paying more for. You'll partner with growth engineering, product, and data to turn goals like ARR growth, expansion revenue, and reduced churn into tested, shipped design changes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own growth-critical surfaces (pricing pages, paywalls, upgrade prompts, and checkout flows) from concept through shipped, tested experiments
- Turn business goals like ARR growth, expansion revenue, and reduced churn into design hypotheses and interface changes you can test
- Design and read A/B tests and other experiments with growth engineering and data, iterating fast on what moves the numbers
- Collaborate closely with growth engineering and product to ship experiments quickly and turn winners into permanent product surfaces
- Contribute to visual and interaction consistency between growth surfaces and the rest of the product
- Set the design direction for Runway's growth surfaces and mentor other designers working in the funnel
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Experience designing product surfaces tied directly to revenue and can point to what moved ARR, conversion, or expansion revenue in a past role
- Comfort running and reading quantitative experiments, not just shipping a single "best" design
- Experience designing flows, prototypes and high-fidelity UI's for web products, with strong visual design skills
- Experience delivering and iterating fast in close collaboration with engineering, and product teams
- Ability and flexibility to iterate fast and often
- Comfortable picking up unfamiliar parts of the product rather than waiting to be assigned only what you already know
- Knowledge and understanding of the creative tool space
- Bonus points if you have experience creating functional prototypes using AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.)
- At Runway, it's always a bonus if you have artistic and creative potential (particularly skills with video/audio editing, icon/typography design, illustration, etc.)

ABOUT THE ROLE
*Preferable to have someone near one of our offices in NYC or San Francisco, but open to hiring around the world for the right candidate.
Runway Creative is an all-in-one platform giving creators and businesses endless ways to generate and edit video, images, and audio. Our user base spans across professional creatives, as well as business owners and enterprise marketing and merchandising teams that come to Runway to generate videos, ads and other content to promote their products and services.
We're hiring a product marketing leader for Runway Creative, leading our audience growth across both self-serve and enterprise. This is not a top-of-funnel-only brand or “launch” role. You'll own the segment, from how we acquire users, to how they activate and convert in-product, to how self-serve teams expand into enterprise relationships. You'll start deeply hands-on as the primary PMM for Creative, and build a team over time as the function scales.
This is a builder's role. You'll be defining the discipline, working shoulder-to-shoulder with product, creative, marketing and growth; you'll be measured on the growth of the business (not just on assets shipped or messaging consistency).
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the segment. Define Runway Creative's audiences: who they are, the jobs they hire Runway for, how they differ across self-serve and enterprise. Ground audiences in hands on customer research, win/loss details, and usage analysis. Turn these insights into a point of view that product and leadership actually build against.
- Own positioning and messaging for Creative. Define how Runway Creative is positioned across its audiences and motions, from individual creators to marketing teams to enterprise buyers. Make the story sharp, consistent, and reflective of Runway's ambitious brand, and make sure a professional buyer recognizes themselves in it.
- Drive acquisition and conversion, not just awareness. Partner with growth to move the funnel that matters for this segment: acquisition channels and targeting that find more of these users, and the in-product activation, upgrade, and expansion mechanics that convert and retain them. You're comfortable owning metrics and running experiments, not just producing the narrative around them.
- Lead pricing and packaging. Co-own with product, finance, and growth how Runway Creative is packaged and priced across individuals, teams, and enterprise. Lead from first-hand experience developing winning pricing and packaging in a PLG setting.
- Drive competitive intelligence and response. Track and deeply understand the key players across the AI creative tools market. Turn your market understanding into a living point of view on where we win, where we're exposed, and how we respond, and make it legible to product and leadership.
- Partner on enablement. Stand up enablement that fits both motions — in-product surfaces, onboarding, and lifecycle for self-serve; current, credible messaging and proof points for sales and partnerships on the enterprise side (in partnership with a sales enablement team).
- Build the team. Start as the primary hands-on driver for creative tools marketing, then hire and lead a team as the function grows. You’ll raise the bar on craft and speed as you scale.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 7+ years in product marketing, including time leading PMM for a winning PLG product at meaningful scale. You’ll bring a track record of work that moved business metrics — acquisition, conversion, or revenue — not just launches that shipped.
- Segment and growth fluency. You've defined an audience or segment and built a go-to-market around it. You understand self-serve / product-led growth mechanics and are comfortable being measured on funnel outcomes (activation, conversion, expansion), partnering closely with growth and product to move them.
- Pricing and packaging experience. You've shaped how a product is packaged and priced across individual and team/enterprise tiers, and you understand the tradeoffs a self-serve-to-enterprise motion creates.
- Exceptional positioning and narrative craft. You can take research concepts and technical products and make them land for a discerning, professional audience. You create sharp positioning, ad creative, and launch stories (and you can write them yourself).
- You thrive in an environment with rapid pace and a high accountability culture. You move very fast, make decisions with incomplete information, and instinctively gravitate toward shipping today (not writing docs for tomorrow).
- Sharp competitive instincts. You track markets closely, form a real point of view on where to win, and translate it into product and messaging decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. You confidently assess the state of the business, call out challenges, and articulate your plans to solve them.

ABOUT THE ROLE
*Open to hiring remote on the West Coast— preferable to have someone near our office in SF or Seattle.
We're looking for someone to join our IT team and take ownership of day-to-day technical support for a globally distributed company. You'd report to the Head of IT/Security and be the first point of contact for employees with requests, device issues, and account problems.
You'll own the fundamentals from day one: handling tickets, provisioning laptops, running on-boarding, and keeping our SaaS stack in order. But this is a small team at a fast-growing AI company, so the scope grows quickly. You'll get pulled into real projects sooner than you'd expect, across security, infrastructure, and automation. How far you take it depends on what you're good at and what interests you.
This role is also the start of our IT presence internationally. Most of the company sits in North America today, and you'd be our first IT hire outside it, extending support coverage to new time-zones and helping lay the groundwork as we grow globally.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Handle help-desk tickets: Triage and resolve employee requests — password resets, access provisioning, Slack/Google Workspace/Zoom troubleshooting, and general "my thing is broken" support
- Manage the device lifecycle: Procure, provision, configure, and ship laptops for new hires. Handle off-boarding wipes and returns. Keep the asset inventory accurate.
- Run on-boarding and off-boarding: Create accounts, apply security profiles, draft welcome communications, and make sure new employees have everything before day one
- Administer Google Workspace: Manage users, groups, aliases, and license assignments. You'll use both the admin console and CLI tools regularly.
- Support endpoint compliance: Work with our device trust tooling to keep employee machines meeting security policies, and follow up when they don't
- Deploy and enforce security policies: Help roll out and maintain endpoint security configurations, access controls, and compliance requirements across the fleet
- Manage corporate software: Handle seat assignments, renewals, license optimization, and access reviews across our SaaS stack
- Support office networking and AV: Help maintain networking equipment, conference room setups, and office technology across our physical locations as needed
- Train and enable employees: Deliver lightweight technical guidance and training on IT systems, both for new hires and for ongoing support (written guides, short walkthroughs, the occasional screen share)
- Write things down: Maintain run-books, knowledge base articles, and process docs. If you fix something, document how.
WHERE THIS ROLE CAN GROW
We don't expect you to stay in a pure helpdesk lane. Our SOC2 program has ongoing evidence collection and device trust work to pick up, and there's security policy work that needs someone to own the rollout and enforcement side.
On the infrastructure side, we manage cloud resources through infrastructure-as-code, and there's room to contribute once you're comfortable. We also automate a lot (scripting, CI/CD pipelines) and there's no shortage of manual process waiting to be turned into a workflow.
Over time, you'd lead IT projects around endpoint management, security improvements, and internal tooling rather than just executing on them.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Some form of IT support experience. A help-desk role, an internal support function, or just being the person everyone came to when something broke. The title matters less than the reps.
- Comfort with macOS. Our user endpoint fleet is mostly Mac. You should be able to troubleshoot system issues, manage profiles, and work in the terminal without hand-holding.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace administration, or the confidence to pick it up fast. CLI admin tooling experience is a plus.
- A working understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN basics, and how traffic moves. You don't need to be a network engineer, but you shouldn't be lost when a connectivity issue comes in.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles. You should know what endpoint security, encryption, and access controls are, and why they matter, even if you haven't built policies from scratch.
- Strong written communication. This is a remote role and coordination happens in Slack and Notion. If you can't write clearly, the timezone gap makes everything harder.
- Self-direction. There's separation between you and the rest of the IT team for part of the day. You need to be someone who sees what needs doing and does it.
- Curiosity about how systems work. Maybe you've run a homelab, automated something tedious with a script, or set up a Pi. We care more about the impulse than the resume line.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with MDM platforms (any of the major ones)
- Any exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc) and infrastructure-as-code concepts
- Scripting in Python, Bash, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with zero-trust networking concepts and tools
- Background in compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Exposure to international IT regulations or data privacy requirements (GDPR, etc.)

*Open to hiring remote across the US and London – we also have offices in NYC, San Francisco, Seattle, and London
Japan has been one of Runway’s fastest-growing markets, even without a major commercial presence – it's our third-largest market among both enterprise and self-serve customers, and the fastest-growing self-serve market in Asia. In addition to millions of individual users, we've seen 300% growth in enterprise customers in the past 12 months, and Japan has driven a third of our sales volume in Asia overall.
As a result, we are looking for a Founding Deployment Lead to own Runway’s most strategic enterprise relationships in Japan – end to end. You will guide deals from first conversation through close, then ensure those partners thrive and expand on our platform after launch. This role requires full professional bilingual fluency in Japanese and English, deep familiarity with Japanese enterprise culture, and the commercial chops to own a book of business and help close complex deals. Quarterly travel to Japan is expected.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own deep, trusted C-suite level relationships with Runway's most strategic partners in Japan,
- Travel to Japan at least once per quarter for in-person relationship building, deal advancement, and partner support
- Represent Runway in Japan's creative and enterprise ecosystem – at events, industry forums, and partner summits
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Creative, Sales, and Leadership to translate Japan-specific market signals into roadmap input and go-to-market strategy – you are the voice of the Japanese market internally
- Go deep inside partner organizations to understand their creative and operational workflows, then design and propose targeted Runway solutions
- Identify and pursue new categories of opportunity within Japan – new verticals, new use cases, new partner types – and prototype quickly to validate before scaling
- Be hands-on in quickly onboarding new partners to our platform and/or API while also supporting their long-term expansion and technical understanding of how to leverage Runway
- Analyze, track, and report on the performance of existing partnerships leveraging BI tools and data
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 7+ years of overall experience in customer-facing roles, engaging C-level audiences with complex global organizations ideally within tech, finance, or consulting
- Full professional bilingual fluency in Japanese and English
- Deep familiarity with Japanese enterprise culture, procurement, and relationship dynamics; able to travel to Japan at least quarterly
- Experience owning or contributing to P&L, commercial forecasting, and pipeline management
- Proven track record leading complex Generative AI or ML implementations with measurable business outcomes
- Highly resourceful, autonomous, and action-oriented – thrives in ambiguity, creates structure, and manages competing priorities without losing sight of what matters
- Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills
- Nice to have but not required: existing relationships in Japan's media, entertainment, advertising, or enterprise tech sectors
- SF-based preferred

ABOUT THE ROLE
*Preferable to have someone near an office in NYC or San Francisco, but open to hiring anywhere in the US.
Runway's Developer Platform (RunwayDev) is the best place for developers to build with AI media models, with customers ranging from the world’s software companies, to enterprises and agencies, to vibe-coders. RunwayDev provides a single gateway to integrate with the best image, video, audio, and real-time models. Our vision is to be the developer platform behind all creative work: one place to call the best model for any creative task, with the best quality output.
RunwayDev serves not only Runway’s first-party frontier models (Gen-4.5, Aleph, Act-Two), but also provides day-zero access to a curated set of best-in-class third-party models, and intelligent routing that no aggregator can match.
We're hiring a Product Leader to own the Developer Platform business end-to-end. You'll own the API revenue number, create the platform strategy, prioritize the portfolio of bets, and serve as the single front door for this business across the company. You'll start deeply hands-on as the primary PM, and grow a strong team as the business scales.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own the developer platform business. Drive the revenue goals for the developer platform (API ARR), along with the full funnel of developer signups, activation (first task), weekly active developer accounts, and developer NPS.
- Create and drive the strategy. Articulate and drive the portfolio of bets that make Runway the platform of choice for developers integrating media models. Co-develop strategy with leadership and partners, then make clear, ambitious calls on where to invest and what to cut.
- Win professional developers. Land and grow agencies, software tools, and platform partners. Partner with our internal deployment teams to ensure developers are successful with the platform.
- Ship, hands-on. Talk to developers every week, ship your own PRs and reference integrations, and partner tightly with engineering, design, DevRel, PMM, and partnerships. You'll be in the details daily and shipping regularly.
- Build the team. Start as the primary IC DRI and hire PMs underneath you as the business grows, raising the bar on outcome orientation as you scale.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 7+ years in product management, preferably leading a developer-facing or platform/API product at meaningful scale. A track record of moving revenue and adoption metrics, not just shipping features.
- You thrive in an environment with rapid pace and a high accountability culture. You move very fast, make decisions with incomplete information, and instinctively gravitate towards shipping today, not writing docs for tomorrow.
- A GM mindset. You think in terms of the business, not just the roadmap. You're fluent in the economics of a usage-based / consumption API business, comfortable owning a P&L-style number, and you instinctively tie every bet to a hypothesis about how it moves the business.
- Deep developer-product craft. Hands-on experience with API and SDK design, developer onboarding and activation, docs and DevRel, and usage-based pricing and packaging. You know what a great developer experience feels like and you've personally driven the loop.
- Strong technical fluency and customer obsession. You can earn the trust of a discerning developer audience — talk credibly about latency, cost, reliability, and integration ergonomics. Experience with inference platforms, infrastructure, or AI media products is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. You can make a sharp, written argument and tell a compelling launch story. You confidently assess the state of the business, call out challenges and articulate your plans to solve them
