Job Summary:
The Vice President of Pharmacy Networks is a critical executive leadership role responsible for the strategic vision, contracting, and end-to-end management of SmithRx’s national pharmacy network. You will lead negotiations and foster relationships with retail chains, independent pharmacies, Pharmacy Services Administration Organizations (PSAOs), specialty pharmacies, and mail-order facilities.
In this role, you will ensure our network aligns with our transparent, pass-through pricing model while maintaining exceptional coverage, quality, and cost-efficiency for our clients and members. You will oversee a team dedicated to network development, compliance, credentialing, and performance optimization.
What you will do:
Network Strategy & Contracting
Lead Network Strategy: Design and execute the overarching strategy for SmithRx’s national and custom pharmacy networks, ensuring alignment with our transparent business model and client needs.
Contract Negotiation: Lead high-level negotiations with major retail chains, PSAOs, specialty pharmacies, and mail-order partners to secure competitive reimbursement rates and favorable contract terms without relying on spread pricing.
Strategic Partnerships: Identify and develop innovative network programs (e.g., high-performance or narrow networks, direct-to-consumer delivery models) to drive down drug costs and improve member access.
Network Management & Operations
Oversee Network Performance: Monitor and manage the ongoing performance of the pharmacy network against defined SLAs, ensuring adherence to contractual terms, quality standards, and pricing accuracy.
Credentialing & Compliance: Direct the credentialing and re-credentialing processes, ensuring all network pharmacies comply with federal, state, and SmithRx regulatory standards.
Audit & Fraud Prevention: Oversee the pharmacy audit team to manage network integrity, minimize Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA), and execute audit recoveries effectively.
Government programs readiness: Implementation of needed policies and procedures to meet CMS oversight requirements.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Internal Alignment: Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Clinical Strategy, Pricing/Underwriting, and Product teams to ensure network capabilities are accurately represented in the market and successfully integrated into our technology platforms.
Data & Analytics: Collaborate with data and analytics teams to monitor network profitability, utilization trends, and cost models to proactively identify areas for financial optimization.
Team Development: Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of network managers, contracting specialists, and analysts. Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and courage
What you will bring to SmithRx:
Experience: 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in pharmacy network management, pharmacy contracting, or PBM operations.
Experience across lines of business: Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, Exchange
Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the PBM ecosystem, pharmacy reimbursement models (AWP, MAC, NADAC), and the operational differences between traditional and pass-through/transparent PBMs.
Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of successfully negotiating complex, multi-million dollar contracts with major national pharmacy chains and PSAOs.
Leadership: Demonstrated experience building, leading, and mentoring cross-functional and remote teams in a high-growth environment.
Analytical Acumen: Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to understand complex pricing models and translate data into actionable network strategies.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field; PharmD or Master’s degree (MBA/MHA) is highly preferred.

Job Summary:
The Vice President of Trade Relations & Formulary Strategy is a critical executive leadership role responsible for the manufacturer-facing side of our supply chain. You will define and execute SmithRx’s enterprise rebate strategy, formulary management, and clinical criteria, ensuring alignment with our 100% pass-through and transparent business model.
Unlike traditional PBM roles focused on maximizing retained rebate revenue, this role focuses on driving the lowest net cost and highest clinical value for our clients. You will lead negotiations with pharmaceutical manufacturers, oversee our Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) partnerships, and direct the strategic design of our formularies and clinical utilization management programs.
What you will do:
Trade Relations & Manufacturer Strategy
Lead Manufacturer Negotiations: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, leading negotiations for rebates, discounts, and value-based contracts that align with SmithRx’s financial objectives and commitment to client transparency.
GPO Management: Oversee our rebate Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) partnerships and administration, ensuring compliance, financial accuracy, and strategic alignment with our pass-through model.
Market Access & Pipeline Monitoring: Monitor pharmaceutical market dynamics, generic pipelines, and biosimilar launches to proactively position SmithRx’s trade and contracting strategies ahead of market shifts.
Rebate Analytics: Provide executive oversight for rebate financial modeling, market assessments, and guarantee development in partnership with the Pricing and Underwriting teams.
Formulary Strategy & Management
Formulary Design: Serve as the executive owner of SmithRx’s formulary strategy, ensuring recommendations are grounded in clinical evidence, market intelligence, and lowest-net-cost financial modeling.
P&T Committee Leadership: Lead and oversee the Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) / Formulary Advisory Committee, setting standards for governance, documentation, and objective decision-making rationale.
Client & Consultant Engagement: Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to clearly articulate the clinical and financial value of our formulary strategies to prospective clients and benefits consultants.
Experience with formulary management and utilization management across government programs (i.e. Medicare and Medicaid)
Clinical Criteria Strategy & Management
Utilization Management (UM): Direct the development and deployment of clinical criteria for Prior Authorizations (PA), Step Therapy (ST), and Quantity Limits (QL) to ensure appropriate utilization, prevent waste, and optimize patient outcomes.
Clinical Philosophy Alignment: Ensure all clinical criteria and UM programs maintain strict independence from manufacturer influence, prioritizing patient health and employer savings over rebate qualification.
Specialty Drug Strategy: Collaborate with clinical leadership to design innovative management strategies for high-cost specialty drugs, gene therapies, and orphan drugs.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Internal Alignment: Partner with executive peers across Pharmacy Networks, Clinical Operations, Sales, Finance, and Analytics to ensure integrated supply chain execution.
Team Development: Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of trade relations directors, clinical pharmacists, and data analysts.
What you will bring to SmithRx:
Experience: 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in PBM trade relations, pharmaceutical market access, formulary management, or related clinical strategy roles.
Experience across various lines of business: Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, Exchange
Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the PBM ecosystem, drug manufacturer contracting, GPO structures, and the operational differences between traditional rebate aggregators and 100% pass-through PBMs.
Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of successfully negotiating complex rebate and value-based contracts with major pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Clinical Foundation: Strong grasp of clinical pharmacology, drug pipelines, and evidence-based medicine required to guide P&T committees and clinical criteria development.
Analytical Acumen: Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to translate complex rebate structures into lowest-net-cost strategies.
Education: PharmD degree is highly preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Healthcare Administration combined with extensive industry experience will be considered. Active pharmacist license in good standing is a plus.

Job Summary:
SmithRx is seeking a talented Consultant Relations Leader who will play a critical part of our growth efforts by leading all pharmacy consultant engagements.The role will be responsible for leading a small team to manage, build and maintain relationships in the pharmacy consultant community as well as educating consultants on our value proposition and key differentiators. The critical KPI commonality with consultants to correctly evaluate our value proposition in the market, as well as the ability to gain direct feedback and opportunities for improvement from our partners.
In this role, you will collaborate cross functionally to effectively promote, support, partner and deliver the SmithRx solution. In addition, you will lead development of playbooks for each key consultant partner on how to evaluate SmithRx, and work with our pricing and proposals team to ensure these offers are calibrated to consultant evaluative process. Our team members must be willing to wear multiple hats and adapt to different situations as SmithRx continues to grow and expand throughout the United States.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background and interest in healthcare and pharmacy benefits consulting, relationship management, strategy, negotiation, and leading presentations externally and internally. This role reports directly to our VP of Commercial Strategy.
What you will do:
Nurture SmithRx relationships with key contacts in the pharmacy consulting community, to drive strong relationships and increase understanding about our capabilities
Drive opportunity growth through the pharmacy consultant channel
Effectively collaborate with members of cross functional teams: Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Ops, Pricing & Proposals, Strategy, Analytics, and Marketing
Partner with Sales on key broker + consultant house relationship overlap to represent a cohesive, coordinated Smith external view
Facilitate meetings with pharmacy consultants to understand our differentiators and to drive excitement about our value proposition
Represent Smith at consultant led events
Learn and understand the various tools that are used in the Commercial Organization and work with your team to brainstorm and develop creative ways for further enablement (short videos, job aides, etc.)
Content preparation and leading training will be critical
Assist with responses to pharmacy consultant sourced RFIs/RFPs.
Assist in demonstrating SmithRx client value that occurs with shared broker clients and spreading the word across the practice when we deliver strong ROI and outcomes
Provide ongoing follow up on RFP submissions to consultants
Conduct ongoing value presentations on consultant book of business performance
Develop and maintain intra-company relationships consistent with our values
10-20% travel required based on season and business need

8+ years PBM experience working with consultants
Prior experience at a pharmacy consulting firm preferred
Experience in a high growth, fast changing environment
Ability to quickly understand complex internal processes and needs
Excellent poise and presentation skills, strong writing skills

Adept at social selling and networking

Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on GTM Finance, Director to serve as our first GTM finance business partner at SmithRx. Partnering closely with Sales and Marketing (S&M) leadership, this builder will shape the financial foundation of our go-to-market engine. We are looking for an individual who can scale a business-oriented finance function from the ground up. Reporting to the Senior Director, Strategic Finance, this role will own financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the GTM organization. You will play a critical role in driving GTM strategy, delivering actionable insights, and ensuring alignment between growth investments and financial outcomes.
What you will do:
Build deep partnerships with Sales and Marketing (S&M) leadership by providing strategic decision support across all areas of investment, delivering high-level financial results, and identifying emerging market trends.
Own and continuously improve forecasting models for members and revenue, ensuring alignment with pipeline, targets and long-range planning.
Own and evolve GTM KPIs and ROI frameworks (CAC, LTV, Payback) to guide decision making that aligns with the Company’s long-term objectives.
Partner with GTM teams on pricing strategy and proposals, developing robust P&L models for new customers and contracts.
Own the monthly forecasts, executive-level variance analysis, annual planning, and spend management for the S&M organization.
Partner with Sales, Rev Ops and HR to align headcount planning, capacity models, and incentive structures including commission modeling and quota development.
Stand up the systems, tooling, and frameworks needed to influence the business, including automation, reporting, and operational rhythms.
What you will bring to SmithRx:
8+ years of experience in FP&A, GTM Finance, Strategic Finance, or related fields, preferably in a high-growth environment.
Proven experience supporting Sales or Marketing leadership, with strong understanding of revenue models and GTM unit economics.
Experience in healthcare or health tech is preferred.
Capable of managing executive relationships, high-stakes deliverables, and complex expectations with your business partners.
Expert in financial modeling and quantitative analysis who thrives on solving unstructured problems and influencing senior business partners.
Strong communication skills and executive presence, with the judgment to challenge assumptions while maintaining strong relationships.
High level of ownership, curiosity, and urgency, with the ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity.
Bachelor’s degree required.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to lead the financial analysis that powers our most critical strategic decisions. You will analyze the business through the lens of an investor, owning our fully integrated 3-statement Long Range Plan, shaping capital allocation, and driving financial modeling for strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Director, Finance, you will partner across the business in a highly visible role. The ideal candidate is a top-tier modeler who can move seamlessly between detail and strategy, and serve as a true thought partner to senior leadership.
What you will do:
Build and own the company’s strategic financial model
Own our fully integrated 3-statement Long Range Plan, aligning capital allocation and growth assumptions with the company’s long-term vision.
Build valuation frameworks, sensitivities, and investor‑grade outputs.
Scale and digitize the modeling infrastructure to reduce manual modeling and increase clarity.
Analyze the business like an investor
Serve as a key support lead for future fundraising efforts and potential M&A including modeling, valuation, and diligence.
Benchmark peers and build competitor profiles, KPI benchmarks, and market analyses.
Develop a POV on unit economics, efficiency, scale, and profitability.
Partner across the Company
Work directly with the CFO and Executive Leadership Team on forward-looking financial questions.
Work with cross functional leaders on scenario modeling and business case development, connecting financial discipline to operational outcomes.
Work with the FP&A team to ensure near-term forecasts are aligned with long-term forecasting.
Lead cash flow and liquidity modeling
Build rolling cash forecasts, modeling drug-related payment timing.
Identify liquidity risks and opportunities, and shape capital allocation decisions.
What you will bring to SmithRx:
5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, equity research, or similar environments.
Experience analyzing healthcare or health tech companies.
Best-in-class Excel modeler including integrated 3-statement models, valuations, sensitivities, scenario analyses, and unit economics.
Exceptionally strong analytical skills and capable of tackling diverse, unstructured business problems.
Ability to translate data and analysis into clear narratives for executives, and comfort presenting to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders.
High level of ownership, curiosity, and urgency, with the ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity.
Bachelor’s degree required

Job Summary:
The Senior Salesforce Administrator is responsible for optimizing Salesforce processes, supporting integrations and contributing to minor development efforts. This role involves identifying process efficiencies, implementing new Salesforce features, and ensuring seamless integrations to support Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Pricing & Proposals, Legal, Account Management, Customer Support teams, Product/Engg among other teams at SmithRx. A strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, limitations, integrations, data architecture and development best practices is essential. This role has an in-depth understanding of the Salesforce supporting system infrastructure, data and developing within the broader scope of this ecosystem.
In addition to core administrative responsibilities, the role requires basic coding skills to enhance Salesforce functionality through Flows and API integrations. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their workflows and build automation that improves efficiency, streamlines operations and enhances user experience. This person will provide thought leadership to find solutions to workflow and tracking of business processes to help the department and system run at optimal levels.
What you will do:
Manage advanced Salesforce configurations, security settings, and user roles.
Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions, including custom objects and advanced declarative automation.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Product/Engg, Customer Support teams and other teams to identify automation opportunities that improve efficiency.
Oversee and contribute to third-party integrations, API configurations and middleware solutions to enhance system functionality
Support minor development efforts, including Apex triggers, process automation and troubleshooting code-related issues.
Assist with data governance, ensuring data integrity, deduplication and compliance.
Develop advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics for actionable insights.
Support release management, change management and deployment cycles.
What you will bring to SmithRx:
8+ years of relevant experience
5+ years of Salesforce administration experience with hands-on expertise in configuration, automation and integrations.
Strong understanding and experience of integrations, APIs and middleware tools to enhance system functionality.
Proven ability to design scalable solutions and automation that improve Sales, Marketing and Customer Support team workflows.
Experience working with security models, permission structures and data governance best practices.
Salesforce Certifications: Must have Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, and Service Cloud Consultant certifications. Preferred certifications include Advanced Administrator and Platform Developer I.
Ability to read and troubleshoot code to assist with integrations and system enhancements.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and creative approach to developing innovative and effective solutions to improve system performance
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Strong data management abilities, skilled at organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data to support decision-making.

Job Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will serve as the operational anchor and triage resource for the Business Systems team. This individual is responsible for establishing, scaling, and managing the Jira intake queue for business system enhancements and support tickets coming from Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Account Management, Customer Support, and Product/Engineering.
The ideal candidate has sharp systems-thinking abilities, SaaS tools experience, strong Salesforce administration skills, and a proven track record of triaging incoming requests, analyzing technical feasibility, defining clear acceptance criteria, and prioritizing work in an active fast-moving and agile environment.
What you will do:
Own the end-to-end Jira intake process, evaluating new requests, resolving ambiguity, assessing system feasibility, and routing issues efficiently to keep the Business Systems queue organized.
Translate loose user feedback and broad stakeholder pain points into deeply detailed, technical Jira user stories with precise acceptance criteria.
Execute hands-on Salesforce administration (Flows, validation rules, page layouts, user security, and data management) to implement approved ticket requests.
Oversee and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce and critical third-party tooling such as Five9, Ironclad, and DocuSign.
Run backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions, collaborating with technical leads to balance hotfixes/bugs with long-term strategic projects.

Build robust Salesforce reports and dashboards to give key business units real-time visibility into their processes.
Write clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation so that system changes are easily understood and auditable.
What you will bring to SmithRx:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
4+ years of relevant experience
2+ years of experience actively managing, triaging, and scaling Jira service desks, engineering backlogs, or similar ticketing workflows.
Experience configuring or maintaining third-party tools integrated with Salesforce (e.g., Five9, DocuSign, Ironclad).
Proven ability to quickly categorize urgent bugs, system enhancements, and general questions while identifying downstream technical impacts.
Ability to create reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
The ability to push back gracefully on stakeholders, explain complex system limitations in plain English, and bridge the gap between business needs and engineering constraints.
Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

$112,200 - $132,000 USD

Metro Boston / Cambridge - Massachusetts and New Hampshire
Metro Austin - Texas
Metro Seattle - Washington
Zone B Pay Range
$102,900 - $121,000 USD
Zone C includes all other locations not listed above, including:

Base Salary: The range listed above reflects our standard pay scale and actual pay will vary based on work location, job level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
